TLDR: these were from a chiproom sale back in the day. At that time Jim had to cancel* chips with a stamp. Some of the chips cracked as a result of the cancellation stamp process. The stamps can be cleaned off with some effort.
The rack of $25’s are cherry picked from 400 chips. I can’t find any cracks, but that does not mean they are not there. The $5’s did not experience cracking as far as I know. The $1’s have some cracks.
