superchromix
Full House
Offered for sale is a beautiful set of Paulson chips from the St. Jo Frontier casino.
All chips leaded, shaped & textured inlay THC mold, with the exception of the half dollars (hotstamp, THC) and the $5 chips (giant inlay, RHC).
This set was one of the first releases from Jim at The Chip Room, years ago. At that time, the chips had a gold cancellation stamp applied to one side of each chip. Unfortunately, legend has it that the operator of the stamping machine applied to much pressure to some of the chips, creating tiny cracks at the edges of the 50¢, $1 and $25 denominations. The cracks are hardly noticeable without close inspection, and do not affect the integrity of the chips.
The cancellation stamp can be removed from the chips, using e.g. an electric toothbrush and non-acetone nail polish remover. For the chips offered here, the hotstamps have been completely removed from the $1 and $5 chips, and some $100 chips.
Breakdown:
100x 50¢
200x $1
300x $5
200x $25
100x $100
(+spares of $50¢, $1, $5)
Condition:
