Finishing up a stack of poker chip trays I'm making out of Spalted Maple, thanks to WoodWhisperer for his video on these.

Just need to sand and apply a finish, but I'm happy with the results.

Any chance you could share that video?
Sure here's the sauce, I made one small tweak which was to route the bottom groove before attaching the sides so the sides act as a bumper when the trays are stacked, should make it easier to carry the stack ;)

Test fit with my 450 Tiki Kings and 10 DDLM Bounty Chips, showcasing how the non grooved sides aid in alignment ;)

He does a great job providing the instructions. I made some as well many years ago before I had my CNC. These are fun, but time consuming.

I did a couple laminated as well.

Nice, yea they are time consuming for such a simple project, especially that drilling 5 40mm holes per pair of trays 2 5/8" deep. These are just for fun don't intend to make these to sell, may end up making a few more over time if someone asks for a set or if I expand my chip collection beyond the racks I have.

Yours look great. Good idea keeping the sides go all the way to the bottom. Nice choice if wood as well.

And all finished, I'll probably make a few more soon with some scrap curly/ambrosia maple from another project I'm starting.
