Some of my collection. It’s not much, buts it’s a start. I am trying to grow my collection by a LOT! Sorry if I didn’t post in right thread/forum.

The #1 rule for chip collecting is to make sure you focus on something. LV, $5, current, obsolete, house, LE, something. If you collect 'anything' you never get the satisfaction of marching toward an actual goal. Just my $.02.

I’m new to collecting as well. All I’m looking to do is to collect a $1 chip in very good condition from every Vegas (and surrounding area) casino that I personally visit.

I started going to Vegas in 2010, so I went to some places that are gone now (Riviera, Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall, O’Sheas, etc), and I wish I had the idea to collect back then, but the chase is kind of fun. Don’t want to collect chips from places I never got to visit (Stardust, Dunes, Aladdin, etc) because I don’t personally have any sentimental value attached to those casinos. Plus I have an addictive personality and going for EVERYTHING would be a very slippery slope for me haha

I’ve managed to track down all the $1 chips from all the places I’ve been to so far except for Bill’s, O’Sheas, and Margaritaville. Keep looking on eBay but finding inflated prices and horrible shipping rates to where I’m at in Canada.

I guess if anyone sees this and has a chip from any of those three places they’d be willing to part with, feel free to reach out! I’d be extremely grateful and would love to work out a deal.
