I'm surprised that no one is jumping on the iDeal for $2k.

That is going to be the cheapest "casino quality" single deck shuffler you can get.

Pros:
  • It's built with the same ruggedness and toughness as any other ShuffleMaster/Bally/Light and Wonder machine.
  • It shuffles single decks.
  • Made to play several different single deck poker games. Can play normal poker (with an entire single deck shuffle) or other casino games like Pai Gow, 3 Card, 4 Card, Caribbean Stud, etc.

Cons:
  • This is a big boy and sits at the side of your table.
  • Longer full-deck shuffle time than a Deckmate. But at ~48 seconds, it's most likely still faster than you.

Why is it so big?
It uses a wheel to shuffle. (For example, put the first card in wheel slot 47, put the second card in slot 4, put the third card in slot 17, etc.) The wheel takes up a lot of space.

Why is it slower than a Deckmate?
It's only slower if you are doing a full deck shuffle. The slowest part is pushing the cards out from each slot into the output tray. For any game where it can build individual hands, it works much faster because it puts the entire hand in one wheel slot. Pushing out 5 to 10 hands is faster than pushing out 52 cards one at a time.

Can you speed it up?
Yes! If you are playing Texas Hold'Em, program the shuffler to deal 10 two-card hands (or 4 card hands for Omaha). This is probably faster than a DM1. But you would dealing both hole cards at the same time to each player, and some people would find that weird. But if you understand that statistically, it doesn't matter if you get your hole cards all at once, or one at a time, then there shouldn't be a problem.

If the iDeal is so good, why don't you buy it?
I already have one.

What about the MD3?
That's made specifically for shuffling up to 8 decks of cards all mixed together. For blackjack or baccarat.

Any other questions? Ask @minedelta or @Carnth, we love talking about shuffle machines!

This is everything you need to deal baccarat in a casino. Well, except for maybe 16 decks of Bee Club Special.

What does the Safe Shoe do?
It reads the cards (with a camera) as they are dealt out of the shoe. It can tell the dealer when to hit and it prevents you from dealing extra cards when the hand is over (it has a braking system).
It can also be connected to a custom screen that keeps tracks of banker/player wins, naturals and ties (sold separately).

ShuffleStar is a multi deck continuous random shuffler for dealing blackjack.

Most of this beefy machine is meant to be set below the table, with the shoe at table level. When installed properly, the amount of the machine sitting above the table is shorter (height wise) than a traditional shoe.
