Can you provide more detail on the ideal shuffler, please? Is it made by shufflemaster?
Product Description
Introducing Shuffle Masters i-Deal, the gaming industry's pioneering automatic card shuffler equipped with standard card recognition technology. This groundbreaking device brings unparalleled security to high-stakes games such as Three Card Poker, known for its enticing odds and jackpot potential.

The i-Deal boasts a sleek, low-profile design with flush-mount load and unload ports, and a programmable multi-game function. It outpaces its predecessors by shuffling cards approximately 40 percent faster, aiming to boost specialty table game revenues by increasing hands per hour and overall productivity.

Security is paramount with the i-Deal, which thwarts shuffle tracking and deck manipulation while offering the capability to reconstruct hands for rapid jackpot verification. Its mechanical shuffling process not only reduces card wear and tear, extending their lifespan, but also facilitates the dealer's task of re-sorting decks during daily closing procedures.

Card recognition technology integrated into the i-Deal opens new horizons for its application. This feature verifies the presence of all cards, detects any missing or added cards, and aids dealers in setting table game hands accurately and swiftly according to preset house rules in games like pai gow poker.

Complementing the i-Deal is the i-Verify, an LCD touch screen display embedded between the chip tray and player betting positions. When paired with the i-Deal, it guides the dealer on setting hands according to house procedures, eliminating the need for memorizing complex rules. This innovation simplifies dealing intricate games like pai gow poker, providing a visual aid for both dealers and players, ensuring hands are set correctly and enhancing game security. It also reduces or even eliminates the need for extensive dealer training, making it applicable to other house way games such as Fortune San Lo Poker and Ultimate Draw Poker.

The i-Deal and i-Verify together redefine efficiency and security in the gaming industry, making complex table games more accessible and profitable.

Definitely like the idea of these, just gotta find some funds and sales pitch the upgrade over the Shuffletech to the better half.

The iDeal shuffler is made for dealing poker based casino table games like 3 card poker, let it ride, ultimate Texas Holdem, Pai Gow, etc.

It is made by ShuffleMaster and is a beast of a machine. It is made for casinos and is built for 24 hour a day use.

Where as the Deckmates are made to shuffle single decks completely; the iDeal is made to shuffle a single deck in to hands. It shuffles the deck and splits it into hands that are dealt out one at a time. For example, when set to "Pai Gow" mode, it will shuffle the deck and create 7-card hands. The first hand will be dealt to the output tray. When it is picked up, the next 7-card hand will be dealt, you pick it up, and it spits out the next hand, and so on.

Can I use this for standard Texas Holdem or Omaha?
Technically, you can program the shuffler to deal 2 card hands (or 4 card hands for Omaha). Each player's hand would be dealt in one lump, instead of one card at a time. It doesn't change the odds, but it does feel a little weird at first to get dealt all your cards at once, instead of one at a time.

I've always been a bridge jumbo person. But from my history of working in a casino, the floor typically uses poker regular. Index size doesn't matter to me, but the bridge size does.
Can these (i-deal) accept bridge size cards without issue? If so, I might have another purchase in the near future.

Crap. That's the last thing I wanted to hear. Goodbye $1200! (Soon)
I'll bug you next month after I save up some more pennies.

Thanks for posting the extra information!

Is it quieter with the top cover on?
Can you use bridge cards with this shuffler?
Yeah it's quieter but not as quiet as DM1 mounted.
I'm not sure how it compares to Shuffle Tech

It does take bridge or full size as it states here in the manual

I know @joseywales mounted his in an aquaium stand and uses his for his poker games. Not sure if he has any input using this in his games. Here is his mount

I guess I didn’t see that somehow… sorry!
Does it have any ports like Ethernet or usb like the deckmate 2?

It does have a USB and Ethernet port both. The USB is used to upgrade the firmware and the Ethernet port is just an alternate way to change the card type and game but both of these can be disabled via a jumper placement or just unplugging it from the motherboard just like the DM2.

I can see from the pictures that it does have the ports you mentioned, but it did not explain how you could disable them like you mention here.
It sounds like it’s pretty versatile, can deal it out as well as let you just grab a full deck after it’s shuffled, but doesn’t look like it has a cover, is that true? At least over where you put the decks.
Thanks!

@Gorbash time to upgrade! And you can leave the shuffletechs at your other host houses lol or for your multi table tournament 🤣
