Do they even need the money? Really seems like a cash grab.
It was a win but just a few hundred. The stack was more impressive than the win.
The chips are.. yikes. 3 different 1s, 4 different 5s. Clays on the way out. Remaining Clay 25s and and some 5s seriously thin bike tires. $100s were worn but I thought the black and "gold" was cool. The $500s not pictures were a really nice design. The $1,000 looked "gold" base and it's a cool idea but on a table with $2 they sort of could get mixed in. I thought the greens were a little too dark - from across the table, if someone didn't have black next to it I thought it green. Yeah the pink helps but I play elsewhere with pink on $100 chip so it didn't click for me at the moment when I counted.
Honestly I had a good time at the GN. The dealers and staff were personable and fun. Note the rack on rail behind stack that I was harvesting into. Players and house all cool with it.
