Ok...so, this isn't "Live" so please forgive me. Played in the Mid-States Poker Tour $350 event at Potowatomi Casino (Milwaukee) yesterday. Started at 20k and had about 450 entries (Day 1A). I finished the night at about 80k and looking forward to Day 2 on Sunday. (There is still Day 1B today and Day 1C Saturday). I definitely have a lot of work to do, but anything can happen.

Probably the highlights of my 7hrs of playing was getting Quad Kings AND then getting Quad 10's a couple hours later!
(Gotta rep @links_slayer!)

Those chips look epic. You should build up a huge chip lead and then just leave with all of your chips.

Sadly, this is the best live casino chip pic I've got! It was a pretty long time ago. Am I the only one that feels weird taking a picture of themselves while they're playing ;)?

I was playing a long 1/2 session in Charles Town, VA here. Had about ten buy-ins in this pic. A good session! But the best part is I specialize way more in Omaha 8 or better and for the first time I've ever seen, a 25/50 limit o8 game opened up with 4 guys super early in the morning (you can see how dead it is behind me). I took my ten 1/2 buy-ins and sat in the game, had the nuts twice in about 20 hands and made about $900 total in the not-really-even-a-session. Then I chickened out and went back to the 1/2 game with a bunch of greens to shuffle :).

Boston Billiards in Nashua. Nice place, super convenient, but I've ran like shit there till tonight.

KK<AA when I called his limp-reraise-4 bet jam. Multiple people telling me I should've sniffed out aces and folded. LOL. Rebuy.

Then 5d3h on A23hhd board and we get it in with my short stack. He has black AK and I win with running hearts (and the entire table has me pegged for a Cro-Magnon).

Then TT and I raise pre and get one caller (same older guy from AA/KK hand). Flop 238. He bets pot ($40), I call. Turn T. He bets $100 and I flat. River T. He jams and I snap with quads, and I also won a bingo jackpot they have for quads for an additional $200.

Very next hand versus same guy with AcQc and I float on a single club T high flop. Turn brings low club, flat again, river brings Kc and I lead out for a hundo and he calls with a straight. WHEEEEEEEEE!

In for $600, out for $1100 and change.

Chips are weird - not sure if ceramic or plastic but they play nicely, shuffle like butter and stack well.

Pretty sure you are having me on. No one would choose these over paulsons.

Would they still be some kind of GPI product like bud jones?

Actually I am not. I like the variety: Paulson, Bud Jones, ceramics, etc. I even like the plastiky sound some of the BJ chips make. Anytime I watch a cash game from King's Casino, I want to start a BJ collection (y)

I'm curious what he tabled.

When you called the turn, he had to be suspicious. River jam was a dick-measuring contest... Lol. Only thing that calls him are hands that beat him...

He was an older nit but it was like if he made a set or a boat, he was going with it, reads be damned.

Had a "Casino Night" last night at my office.. ended up as the big stack in NLHE ring, but of course it was funny money.
Though the chips turned into raffle tickets and I won a small surround sound system. (y)

From a $75 deep stack tournament tonight. Only have played 4-5 tournaments and this was taken when we decided to chop top 4 for the remaining prize pool after taking a sort of first round chop of $150 each when there were 6 people left.

Starting stack was 15k, about 250k here.

Was the chip leader at the end but we did an almost even chop. 1st/2nd got a little bit more.

One of my favorite Paulson cash sets (probably SSanel's Trops being the other favorite).....GrumpyCatMalaka's Dunes Paulson cash set.

In for $800 out for $720. SwampYankee rivered quads on me early and it was down, down, down early and claw back late night. Fun session.

This was at Horseshoe Tunica recently. I was in for $300 at the $1-$3 table and out with $1,105 after a 6 hour session. Funny story, there were two Vietnamese guys who sat at my table who would constantly speak Vietnamese to each other to the point the floor warned them they would have to leave unless they spoke English only at the table. But one guy didn't seem to know how to play and kept on losing and rebuying just to blow it all again to the point where all the other guys at the table including myself requested to keep them at the table and not kick them off. Come to find out the one guy constantly losing hundred of dollars had just won $10,000 at the blackjack table and wanted to learn how to play poker. Obviously we were ok with that.

In for $5 in our nickel blind NLHE game, went all in and lost in the first 30 mins. Re-bought for another $5 and cashed out for $14.80.

Probably gonna go the stakes to .10\.05 next game.

First game with 'real' poker chips. Now that I've had Paulson, I cannot buy anything else.

Playing $1/2 at MGM. I can't keep anyone on my right lol! I've never played at a more limp happy table, if I'm not raising then there is a 90% chance it will limp around.

I have taken down so many $10-15 pots preflop from all the limpers folding. I would stay all night but i haven't eaten since 9am and the hunger pains are getting to me.
