So, playing 2-5-10 for the first time went really well, much better than the first few times I played 2-5, it’s a wonder what getting even reasonable cards can produce.

No $500 chips? Given the stakes you play at, do you see the $500 as necessary or is the jump to $1k fine?
I hate $500s in these stakes. Completely unnecessary chips. Hundos and $1ks work way better.

Went to Los Angeles last week for a shorter trip with my wife. Stayed at Commerce Casino. Was very excited to play here but this place is not my cup of tea. Long story short cash games are short stacked. And blinds start at 3-5. I didn't play a hand of cash. Played in their super turbo tourney. Did not cash. Anyway some pics from there.

We decided to check out the next day and checked in to the Morongo Casino. Very nice but it was $300 a night to stay there. You get what you pay for. Worth it as this place was great. Played some 2-5 cash and won a few bucks. 1st session won $300 in about 4 hours. 2nd session in for $700 out with $1140 in about 3 hours then took the drive to LAX. Traffics sucks so bad.
