I love it when a straight is dealt like that. It is the perfect time to remind casual players, "You should not read the board for your opponents - just in case they were fixated on their pocket pair."
Best part was two of my players were slugging it out in that hand, and everyone was cheering as I dealt out the board.

Then a player turned over a jack at showdown and made the other very, very sad  :ROFLMAO:

Little 1/3 PLO.

10-20 NL at Bellagio. In for $3,600 out for just over $10,000. Nice assortment of chippies on the felt including a couple flags courtesy of the player to my right. I love the color design of the 20s there and I wish I had more chances to play with them...

Just played one of the weirdest/craziest hands of poker that I've had in a long while.

1/2/T PLO. I'm sitting on about $1,400 with KKT4 and open raise to $40, a player on my left calls, the one on the button goes all in for $89, the BB (who covers me) next to act asks if it can be raised again and the dealer responds no, BB then calls, UTG calls and it gets back to me. Another player not in the hand says he can raise again. Meanwhile I haven't said a word even about raising.

Dealer says yes the option to raise is open, so I say pot to $510. The other two player immediately call the floor over. After some discussion about the action and what's happens the floor rules the raise stands and says yes the dealer made a mistake. He also says it's the players responsibility to also know the action. They argue for a bit before the game moves on.

As action continues, the player on my left shoves for $585, BB is fuming, looks at me, and says Merry Christmas and calls, UTG goes all in for like $550.

We head to a flop with about $2,400 in the middle, 3 players all in of 9c8s4c. UTG open jams for my remaining $800. I don't love it, but his range is super wide given his comment preflop, make the call and the guy on my left calls for his remaining $150. Pot is now just over 4k with 6 players all in.

Turn is a beautiful off suit K, River is a red Q.

Scoop for hero.

Guy on my right is sitting with 6.7k so here's hoping he doubles me up. ;)

Nice hand. Not familiar with 1/2/T blinds and how you can open to 40. Are you able to elaborate?

What are those chips? They look like Sunfly hybrids. RT Plastics, maybe? I dig the $100 plaques.

Matsui is my guess

They are!

Ya I believe they are Matsui's but not certain. Definitely more slippery than Paulson's.

They had a $2 chip the dealers were using for the HH and Quadzilla bonus I was able to convince a dealer to give me some. Then the next dealer said they were not playable and called the floor over to make me exchange them for other chips. My thinking was $1/$2 it's a big blind chip (plus MOAR chips) but they weren't into it.

They are definitely Matsuis. Both the chip pattern and that incredibly cool plaque design are available on their design tool. Really great chips, but they are slippery.

Cool to see a unique chip design at a small casino. Looks like they could have been designed by PCF’ers. :)

The host rebounded strong after busting out early in the evening. He brought out the $500 chip.

Alas, he couldn't hold on to his stack. Thankfully, Hero was able to make change from his.

In for $480, out with $1890.

Dinner: Lobster rolls, buttered lobster with prime rib and baked potatoes. (No hot dog rollers.)

Nice work, maybe you did even better that you thought...out for $463, no?

Is that Turning Stone? I've only played a couple tournaments there.

Edit: I'm sure you just called some blinds before bouncing. In any event, well done!

Yep - turning stone! And exactly that. Called a few blinds. We were 5-handed, but there were 2 other tables that needed 2 so I broke the table + they filled the other 2. I hate being that guy to break the table but I do need to work (today) :ROFLMAO:

It had been about a month since my last casino session, after getting kicked around at @Irish 's Battle Royale I had to prove to myself that I can still beat bad players anyways hahaha
