In for 500 at 2/5/10 PLO

Decided I'm only running it once, since too often players get it in behind and get saved with a 2nd board against me, which has cost me significant profit

Plus if people know you'll go twice they're more likely to play back at you, causing you to fold because they have the safety of 2 boards

Flopped top set and guy stacked off on turn chasing king high flush draw

Then flopped when I held and had a guy with J653 no suits and another with K-high flush draw only stack off to me on the flop

After the 2/5 game broke yesterday when the football game ended I decided to keep playing and had to change over to 1/3 as it was the only game running. Didn't win a hand for a few hours. Nothing like being in for 4 buyins...

Thankfully grinded it back and got a little lucky when I had T7cc with a JcTs8c and got it all in for almost 200bb vs. someone who flopped a set of Js around 4 in the morning. I hit a 9 on the turn and faded his redraws.

Just sat down to the 2/5 game. I realize within seconds I've picked the Jesus seat as the guy next to me just smells of alcohol. He has his chips in a rack and the dealer tells him to unrack. He dumps them in a pile in front of him.

First hand limps around and he bets 200 on the flop. Everyone folds. Second hand he get about 400 all in with top pair and a weak kicker and chops when the board pairs and then an A falls. Third hand I pick up QJs and the guy on my left straddles. All folds to crazy who calls, I raise to 40, straddle calls, crazy calls.

Crazy jams for 1k. I go into the tank and he says I have it.

Call obviously. He's drunk and I got top pair. Guy behind me folds.

Crazy rolls over K9. I hold.

Heres the hand after. 4 players all in (seat 2 called). Crazy loses and insta buys 1k more and downs another jack and coke.

Board was KJ5Q3 I have AJ and quickly roll it over. Druko rolls over a T into the muck pile and kinda flashes only me his second card as he tosses it away. It's a 9.

Floor just moved him to the main game and I'm 2 players behind. They gotta eat him alive before I get over there.

Finally made it out to Hollywood Columbus after about 4 years. No super exciting hands at 1/2 NL after 6 hours. Best one was AQ overfull against A9, but didn't even get stacks in. In for $300 out for $495. Also met @Hornet who was owning the PLO. Definitely gonna need to get on that train for some extra excitement. Just gotta get used to calculating pots haha.

To some extent this is why I prefer home games, then I can drink! Casino that's 97% of the time a no go.

Grinded back a solid win tonight despite not connecting with many flops. Made a Hero call with TT on a Jh7h3s board vs. a LAGs $500 CR (2.5x pot) that was turned out to be a flush draw that left me up for the evening.
