Who has staked other players or sold shares? Any special terms/conditions or stipulations?

My friend who couldn't play in the local $50 tournament this week asked if I would sell shares. His compliment blew up my ego. Being a good sport, I quickly answered that I would sell him 25% for $10. The tournament ended when I and another player agreed to split first and second place money, $250 apiece. He played a really solid game eliminating all but 3 players. I eliminated the player who finished in third, giving me 15-16BB's, roughly 8-9 BB's short of my remaining opponent.

The reason I sold 25% for one-fifth the buy-in amount is I don't finish in the money as often as I finish up in a cash game.
