Assume you have 6 players - 3 want tourney, 3 want circus cash games - is there a compromise? Can you flip from a NLHE round to Shomaha with wilds?

Ha! I am in the tourney camp - we usually do a monthly - this one is a bit out of rhythm so happy to compromise - just never done it - thought the oracles of pcf would have ideas.

A tournament of circus games? Could do a rotation of games within the tournament -or- a different circus game for each tournament - or- a bunch of turbo events in the same night, each using a different circus game -=- DrStrange

Do a double up tournament at the start, then cash. Double up tourney is where half players eliminated, other half doubles up.

With 6 guys only def we would just stick to cash game so we’re all at the table the whole night. Imagine being sucked out first hand of the tournament and have to watch rest of the night or go sleep on the couch waiting for your ride to finish lol

Depending on your player prefs, alternate as needed.

I have probably a 75/25 split among my players who like tourney/cash respectively. I'll host mostly tourney but will mix in a cash session every 3-4 games.... only about 5-6 come to the latter, whereas I'll get up to 25 for tourney play.
