Scored a set (1 Viewer)

This dude split the set and I didn’t even notice…
I think he did it as an accident he was a super nice guy and I have his contact info, work info, and he ran a poker room w stream. Hopefully we can come to good terms….but yeah now I overpaid. Bc the photos represent what he gave me but the chip count doesn’t add up. By his description I negotiated down to under $1 when in reality now I paid $2.

yeah that's a problem. there was no discussion between you about splitting the set? i.e. that description is the lot you purchased?

*edit* his notes make no sense. he's got barrels listed, but counting them as racks. there's your problem.

Yep. I bought it outside of eBay to avoid sales tax. Real nice local guy. Already found him on LinkedIn.

That sharpie is me and my brain not understanding shit lol

I think it was an honest mistake. I have his cell. He owns a solid business in Akron. I found his linked in profile. He’s local. We had a few connections. Nice guy brought his dog lol. The photos match up but the description doesn’t. And I priced it/made sure I was getting a good deal by the description. I’ll get this fixed. Way to go PCF community for instantly noticing!!!

dude listed barrels as racks, something needs straightened out.

Ignore the notebook at first that was me proofing it. His eBay listing was 2665 chips. The photos match exact but his description was off by double…

so he listed double what you got but I don't see his list price. was it double what you paid?

He was asking $2795 i negotiated assuming 2,600 chips and got it under $1 a chip…but I only got half the chips…photos match identically…he didn’t have as many chips as he thought he had…

big difference in 2600 chips and 1280. he needs to make something right if he was advertising more than he had.

“Latest Posts” (lightning bolt icon) will include the ones that you’ve read.

What the living shit is this???? I’d never even tried that icon before. I just always hit the “New Posts” button.

I mean, I know I am new and everything, but you’d think I’d have hit it on accident once or twice in eight and a half years. SMH

UPDATE. He apologized. Made a mistake. Will let them go for $1600. Chip count is 1,340. I think I’m going to pass…

Sorry to hear about the troubles. Glad it’s getting resolved.

add up what this would cost from the chip exchange. I think he has $1 and $5 les than $1 a chip btu I know the 100 and 500 are still well over that.

cheapest option for paulsons is still going to be jack cinci
