Scored a full set in time for next home game. Been playing with ceramics past 10 years after I sold my BCC CDI’s when the games got cold.

Found this site and totally triggered the impulse of chip collection now lol

lmk what you guys think…it’s def a set that is played and sees action.

They need cleaned, I’ll read forums how to do it, but specifically what do you see with these chips?

They also look a bit “dry”.

Still pumped now I don’t need to go chasing right away…

Fleabites are little chips off the edges of the chips.
They look dry because those chips were caked with filth when they came out of the casino. Somebody cleaned them, probably with an ultrasonic, which dries the hell out of them. You could oil them with mineral oil (plenty of threads about how to do that) or you could just play with them and they'll eventually pick up enough oil/sweat/potatochipgrease from peoples hands to bring the color out.

i was just looking at those. i'm sure i've missed discussion on it, but what is the flower pattern outside the inlay? this is new to me.

The inlay pattern with a third color inside the edge inserts is awesome

use some mineral oil on a cloth to rub the edges of the barrels. but keep in mind a drop goes a LONG way.

Just a very little used Paulson edge spot pattern. Not sure we've seen any other chips with that pattern

While oiling them makes the colors pop, I don’t like the way they feel after, especially with used RHC.
I like them “chalky”.

Good breakdown for 2-5 but it may be even better if you trade 2-3 racks for 25s / 100s

Regardless you have more than enough chips for a normal single table 2/5 game.

That’s what just got me worried but looking at the photos these are all the chips. That’s the set I bought…and I’m less than a $ 1 a chip.
