OK, I totally derfed this the first time I tried it, so lets go again:

I am auctioning off my set of Scandia Chips based on guidance from members of this group.

54 $1 Chips
52 $5 Chips
35 $20 Chips
38 $100 Chips
40 $500 Chips

The pictures show the ones that have sun damage on one side.

  1. STARTING BID: [ $ 300 ]
  2. Bids must be placed using numbers (no images), in whole dollars, and in minimum increments of [ $ 10 ]
  3. NO RESERVE. The Starting Bid of this auction will be treated as the Reserve Price.
  4. All bids are to be placed openly in this thread. No bids via PM/Conversation.
  5. No bid edits or bid retractions permitted. (note: ALL edits are logged instantly)
  6. Auction will use the '5 minutes after last closing bid rule'. Highest bid at [ 12 Noon, EDT on May 28, 2020]
    • will win unless there is a bid within 5 minutes of closing time - then the closing time will be within 5 minutes after the latest bid was posted. A bid at the close time is NOT a valid bid. Since seconds are not displayed on post timestamps, these examples will be used as a reference.
    • I reserve the right to: 1) cancel the auction if no bids have been made; 2) edit the listing to correct errors or clarify rules as needed.
    • PCF (its Owner, Admins, and Moderators) are in no way responsible for any actions in this auction.
    • Shipping Terms: [ Buyer chooses shipping method and pays all shipping costs ]
    • Payment Terms: [ Payment via Paypal or Venmo with 24 hours of auction closing]

Remember to bump it 2 times the last day and maybe update that its the last day in the title to help reduce the chance people forget/overlook it GLWA :tup:

Respectfully, you haven’t fixed many of the problems with this auction.

For example, you have at least 2 different types of $1s and no photo that makes it easy to see how many of each.

Scandias are great chips, but there are many subtle variations which end up mattering. Without better photos showing the chips organized, you may get a similar result.

One bump per day is allowed per the Classified Guidelines. Usually like an hour before the end of auction is best. Keep in mind that any bids coming in also bump your post as well. You can definitely do a title change before that bump to help people realize that the auction is almost over.

Tommy did an update this month to allow for 2 bumps on the final day of auction.

Two bumps are allowed on the final day, last I checked.
