I am the original owner of these chips (manufactured by the Bluechip Company) which were purchased back in 2005 during the original sale. They have seen play in about 20-25 home games (and the occasional heads up battle!) are are still in excellent condition. There are a small number of chips that were slightly defective when I received them. The imperfections are generally tiny chipped edges or slightly concave edge. The reason for the sale is that I'm no longer hosting a game. I'd love to find them a new home in time for the holidays where they will be well used and appreciated.

240 x $.25 grey
240 x $1 blue
98 x $5 red
20 x $25 green

_______________
598 chips set

I've inspected the chipset and the following breakdown are what I would consider slightly defective/damaged...check the three pictures all the way at the bottom.

8 x $.25
8 x $1.00
15 x $5

***Also - @seekingalphasocialclub has generously offered a few spare $5s to the winner of the auction to complete a full rack for no charge CONUS. Thank you!***
***If bidding goes over $750 I will include 6 gently used racks***

More details the chips...

From the original chiptalk.net forum group buy
Manufactured by The Bluechip Company. As many of you know Bluechip manufactures chips for some of the most prestigious casinos in the country. They are truly committed to the Samurai Chips and have gone to great lengths to satisfy our demands for quality and design.

The weight will be 9.4-9.9 grams though most chips are expected to average around 9.7. This means these will on average be one of if not the heaviest Bluechips on the market and a true "casino quality chip".

The mold is 100% original and has not been featured on any other chip. It is a timeless design that would compliment virtually any inlay.

From Holdempokerchips.com

“Understated and refined, classic yet contemporary - The Samurai Palace chips are the result of countless hours of design and consideration by Elijah Muse. Originally created to be a custom set they have grown into one of our most anticipated designs with over 25,000 sold before production even began. Every element was scrutinized from the depth of the mold and the texture of the inlay, to the edge spot configurations and the denominations; this is one of the most sophisticated and unique sets of chips designed for the home game. A true “Casino Quality” chip that will stand the test of time and fit into any game whether you play small or large stakes, ring games or multi table tournaments; you’ll be able to enjoy these chips for the rest of your life!”

How many sets do you have???
A couple :) I suspect I might have issues.

I've probably owned 25 or 30 different sets, and I can honestly say that the Samurai tourney set is the only set I sold and instantly regretted it. So much so that I snap bought them back when @Perthmike sold them to fund his custom CPCs.

I actually sold a few off, and have been focused and growing the sets I have versus adding new ones. The top picture was from a few years ago and the bottom one is more recent.

You definitely have too many sets. Don’t hesitate to send me the following sets, I’ll take them off your hands, and I’ll even pay for shipping  :ROFLMAO:

@Seeking Alpha Social Club WOWWWW! how do you decide which ones to play with
We play every Friday, so I have a lot of opportunity to get them in play.

I am actually an amateur collector compared to others. There's a "List your Playable Sets" thread somewhere that left me in awe at @ovo 's list which was way longer than mine.
