Sad and recovering from deviated septum surgery... post some pr0n? (1 Viewer)

I'm planning on getting mine done when I move back to the states in a few months. Its already harder to breathe but I get severe allergies too so during my worst days/months the right side is completely blocked I might as well have only 1 nostril to breathe from.

My self learned pro tips for your recovery:
1.) Get a decent humidifier
2.) Get a REALLY comfortable recliner that you feel comfortable lying in 45 degree angle for long periods of time (have to sleep like this for the first week)
3.) You won't be able to taste anything after the procedure so it's that rare time that you can actually just buy soft foods that are more guaranteed to aid with recovery (e.g. anti swelling properties, healing properties, etc.) even though they wouldn't normally taste the greatest. Maybe this is biased, but it did seem to help me recover faster
4.) Smoothies!!! <-- Couldn't +1 this any more, they feel so good on your throat, which gets super hoarse from breathing through your mouth only for 7-10 days after surgery
5.) Get LOTS of TV shows and movies queued up. E.g. Rewatch Rounders for 9 millionth time.

Good luck!!
