I picked all of these up from @jja412 spring cleaning sales, but I've come to realize that I don't need this many. I toyed with the idea of becoming a "collector", but decided I've got the small amount I need for my one-table game, and these should go back out to others to be played. So, I am putting 1000 of these up for sale at $0.40/chip, $40/rack for partials, or $375 if you buy the lot. All of these have remained in their boxes while in my possession, and haven't been played by me.

I would prefer to sell these as a lot, but I will entertain splits (one rack minimum) if all chips are accounted for. Payment by PPF&F; buyer pays shipping CONUS in FRB of appropriate size. I've never done international shipping, but if someone outside the U.S. wants these and can be patient with me, I will consider it.

Now for the breakdown and pics:

$0.05 x 100
$1 x 380
$5 x 420
$20 x 100 (yellow)
Not pictured: one barrel of $5 that will go in the empty slot in the $1 box. EDIT: I could also swap this with a barrel of $0.25, if desired.

Those are the denomination I have the least of. I did manage to get one barrel freed up to offer with the rest, but I don't really know how scarce they are.
Please somebody correct me if I’m wrong, but the .25s were made by a different company, just a couple of years ago. I’m not sure who, if anybody, owns the artwork, but I wouldn’t consider non-Chipco yaks to be scarce.

And I’m not trying to imply they are. I really don’t have a lot of history on these chips, just that I’ve only ever seen what few I have available here on the forum. If they’re available through another source, by all means get them there if it’s a better deal.

My understanding of the types of Royal Yaks

Original sale
$5, $25, $500, and $1000 were made by Chipco
5c, 25c, $1, $20, $100, and $5000 were made by PGI

A few years ago, additional chips were made by GOCC. Dark blue $1 and blue $10k were specifically GOCC.

I don’t remember and I haven’t searched to find the answers, but this $1 seems like it has a Chipco watermark

I don't doubt it. I'm basing it on my recollection from 2013. You made me go looking.

I went to the Internet Archive and found the following:
https://web.archive.org/web/2013042...ible-one-time-gb-yak-casino-gaming-chips.html

Based on that page, they acquired 50k chips from Chipco in $5, $25, $500, and $1000 denominations acquired from Chipco. The past post on that link indicted that the $1 didn't exist, but they could design one if needed.

GOCC did an add-on a few years ago.

I'm grateful to see so much additional information come out about these chips. Clearly my Google-Fu isn't strong enough. Nice to see more of the history of these chips come to light.
