I am seeking to buy a ~60” round table that will be permanent in my game room. I do not have any major customization desires, just a classic poker table that is both sturdy and aesthetically pleasing.
My searching on the internet, here and 2p2 has yielded several providers: chanman (obv), gorilla, bbo, Dallas custom, pharaoh, and several other smaller providers.
I’m looking for very simple: 58-60”, no racetrack, simple green speed cloth, black rail (potentially with cup holders), on a sturdy dark wood stained base (and no racetrack or chip racks). I’m not overly price sensitive but not convinced i have >$5k needs.
I understand that chanman is the gold standard. I’ve also read multiple posts of his noting that for more standard / less custom offerings, he’s not always the optimal choice.
The only provider I’ve found with an offering meeting my scope is Dallas custom and I cannot find any independent reviews of their work. Would appreciate any recommendations on table options or providers. Also interested in any feedback on Dallas custom.
