Not much of a music fan any more, but in my day, I was way into all genres. Lou Reed passed away today at age 71. He was the first Musician to take his art into what today would be called a multi-platform level. Bowie is lauded for his Chameleon-like character changes, but people forget that Bowie was following/inspired by Lou Reed's channeling of Andy Warhol's pop-art Factory scene.

So long Lou . . . once again the Transformer.
