Hellooooooo.
I am having trouble with the breakdown of poker chips to take on my trip.
Basically I want to play tournaments, so 12, 12, 5, 6 starts.
✖️120 t25
✖️120 t100
✖️50 t500
✖️75 t1000
✖️35 t5000
Total is 400 points.
We plan to start with 10000 points. We expect the limit to carry over is 400-600 pieces.
We are hoping to be able to play blackjack or (50c/1)(1/2)cashgame
I would like to be able to play t25 as 25c.
If everything is halfway done, I am thinking of playing tournament only. For tournament only, I am assuming roughly 8-10 players, and 3 or at most 6 players for the other games.

Hello and welcome to PCF! :)

I don't really know what you'd need for blackjack, but for a combined 10max tournament and 6max cash game, I would go with

120x t25
120x t100
60x t500
70x t1000
30x t5000

That's 400 chips, but might be a little short for the 1/2 cash game depending on how deep people like to play. If the bank runs out, you can always allow cash to play, so not a huge problem.

I know nothing about blackjack, except to always split no matter what. But the 50c/1 forces you to have quarters. Skip them an go for 1/1. I have tried both and I absolutely prefer 1/1. The quarters in 50c/1 are only use for blinds and perhaps c-bets. Skip 'em!

Then, use 100 as the base for tourneys. With 20000 "point" stacks (here at PCF we write T20000 where the T stands for tournament chips) and initial lopsided levels of 100/100, 100/200, 100/300 and then normal 200/400, 300/600 etc, you will get a roughly equivalent structure to the one you're used to, but with less chips.

Starting stacks 10/6/6/2 means you need
100×T100
60×T500
60×T1000
20×T5000
To color up the T100 and T500 you need 8 T5000, perhaps 10 if you round up instead or race.
So let's say 100+60+60+30=250 chips.

This is ok but a bit spartan for the tourney. Might be a bit high in change making in the cash game as well with just 100 blind chips on the table. So if space permits, go for 15/5/6/2 or even 15/5/11/1.

My 3 cents (inflation adjusted)

Thank you !!!!! !!!I am thinking of doing a cash game 1/1 based on the opinions of two people.
Basically I would like to participate with a max of 100bb, but I would appreciate if you could give me a breakdown for one person in this case.
Treat t25 as 25c
Treat t100 as t1
(t500.t1000.t5000)➗100

I think I can fit up to 500 sheets in the Pelican-like case I plan to purchase, which means I can add about 100 sheets, but I would appreciate if you could tell me if I should buy something extra.

Sorry, you're asking the wrong person, I don't have experience with 0.25 cash structures. I'm guessing 12 per person should suffice. Might consider bringing some cheap non-denom dice chips and treat them as 50c, that way you need half.

... which would mean that you wouldn't need lopsided levels in the tourney, you could do 50/100, 100/200, 150/300 etc.

I would still prefer 1/1 though.

...これは、トーナメントで偏ったレベルを必要としないことを意味します。50/ 100、100 / 200、150/300などを行うことができます。

私はまだ1/1を好みます。
I’m understand thank you

Hmm, for 1/1 cash game you would not use any t25. Instead your starting stacks per player could look like this

20x t100
10x t500
3x t1000
————
100bb total

For 50c/1 you could use

16x t25
16x t100
10x t500
3x t1000
————
100bb total
