Hi, if anyone has some of these I'm looking for the following before I order:

-Exact outside dimensions (website says 16 3/4" x 16 1/8" but want to be sure)
-Does it stack flat? (i.e could you stack multiple of these on top of each other (fully loaded with chips) without issue? (Unlike the 9-10 row trays that are sloped towards a dealer?)
-General sturdiness/flimsiness - if fully loaded, is there any potential danger of wobbling while carrying from one table to another?

Thanks

They are pretty sturdy. You could definitely move one tray from one table to another with no problem. They do not nest into each other. A second tray would be sitting on the top of the chips in the bottom tray. Cannot imagine any scenario where you’re moving 2000 chips at once, plus that would be extremely heavy. Would not recommend it.

Thanks for the dimensions and pics. That's what I thought

For context, I'd be potentially stacking 2 or 3 of these trays (with chips) in rolling tool chests. Do you think they'd stack okay in that context? Even if it's a bit offset such that the bottom of the chip rows in layer two is nested in between two rows of chips, if that makes sense?

My next question would be do you think it would hold up if I had to cut a row or column off? Obviously would cut past the partition part, and sand the edges. Just wondering how much material is there to play with

If you plan on rolling the chest or make it mobile w/ the trays stacked on top of each other, I think that is a bad idea. These trays are heavy when fully loaded and rolling them around while stacked would put a lot of lateral and vertical weight on the underlying chips in weird ways that would concern me about potential damages as it is moved. Even if stable/stationary, I doubt I would stack them but I don't even like to stack non-covered 100 chip racks on top of each other for long periods of time.

I would not do this either. The edges have thicker plastic which I think goes a long way towards making the tray stable overall. I guess if you do not plan on lifting or moving them once they are set in your tool chest it might be ok but I would not do it.

Thanks for the input. I think I found a solution with my husky build out drawers and justin racks. Stay tuned for updates
