Quick heads up

In preparation for the release of the updated mobile app, the database will be refreshed. This process will remove all existing users, clubs, and events. The update is scheduled to take place within the next couple of days.

EDIT/UPDATE - Refresh complete. I hope to have the latest version of the app will be available for download within the next few hours or so.

The latest version of the app is now available for download on both iOS and Android phones. You're all invited to explore, test, and provide feedback on all aspects of the app.

Key Updates:
  • A fresh, lighter color palette to hopefully provide a more improved user experience
  • Event update notifications: Club members will now receive alerts when events are updated or cancelled

First, I want to thank everyone who has engaged with me throughout this journey. What began as a somewhat simple mobile app has, thanks to your feedback and involvement, quickly evolved into more of a platform—now consisting of both a mobile app and a web app.

What’s next?
My primary focus moving forward is to ensure the platform’s stability, continue identifying and resolving bugs, and gather even more feedback to guide future improvements.

So I invite anyone and everyone to check the app out and to either post your feedback here or via private message (DM or Email).
 
Do we have any European based iOS users here? DM or email me if you are, I need help tracking down the cause of a bug.
 
Development Diary Update

Development of the PRO platform is still actively underway. I've had some insightful conversations with testers recently—thank you to everyone who's been helping identify bugs and share ideas.


As for new features, I'm currently working on an event schedule page. It will display a simple list of all upcoming events, with the option to export the schedule as a PDF—making it easy for users to share club members and guests. I may include the option to send the list via email and/ sms.

Outside of that, I'm currently working on a strange iOS related bug preventing a particular user from creating events.
 
Quick club-PKR | PRO Key Feature Recap

I envisage club-PKR | PRO becoming some sort of companion to the mobile app, built specifically for club owners and their admins, it offers all the essential features of the mobile app, plus some powerful tools found only within PRO.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been working on resolving a timezone-related bug affecting the iOS version of the app. This issue specifically impacts users in Belgium, preventing them from scheduling new events.

To bypass the bug, follow these steps:
  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Go to General > Date & Time.
  3. Enable the 12-Hour Time option.
  4. Save the changes.
This workaround should prevent the issue from recurring.

I suspect many do. I'm thinking about getting rid of the chat feature within the app, time will tell.

Anyway, I just want to say a big thanks to everyone who's checked out the platform so far. Really appreciate all the feedback and suggestions... Plenty more to come!
 
This latest update is currently only available on iOS. I hope to have the Android version up and running within the next couple of days.

Just installed to check it out! Thanks for making this! Btw I like that you can email invites. I'd love the opportunity to share a join link or QR code for mass communication, and whoever clicks/navigates to it, it acts as an invite.
 
Quick update - I've temporally disabled PRO so that I can begin work on implementing and testing some new features. I hope to have it back up and running within the next couple of weeks.

Dev Update

  • Mobile App - The latest round of development has come to an end an I'm almost ready to officially release this onto the Google Play and Apple App Stores.
  • PRO - I’m currently working on updating the UI for the PRO platform. Regarding pricing, I’ll be releasing details soon, and as a thank you to the forum community for testing and reviewing the product, I plan to offer a chunky discount to all forum members.

Minor update

The latest version of the app is now available for both Android and iOS devices. The database is now stable and ready to go. This will be the final beta build before the official launch, which is planned for next week.
 
Quick Update - Some good news and some slightly frustrating news
  • The Good News
    • The android version of club-PKR is now live on the Google Play Store
  • The Frustrating News
    • Currently in talks with Apple to have the finalize the release of the app on the App Store. Hoping this happens soon.
Regarding the club-PKR | PRO, this remains in beta and is still and available for testing and review.

Frustrating news aside, development is going really well. I'm really looking forward to fully releasing the platform!
