ShervinS submitted a new resource:

I built a 1-tool-to-rule-them-all poker platform for home games - Your own club with everything you will ever need.

Hi dear PCF,
I really value all of your expertise and opinion, which is why I'm posting this here :-)

TL;DR: I built an all-in-one tool for running poker tournaments and would love beta testers and feedback

I want to be clear: This is not another timer app.

It's your own private club page, with events, RSVPs, mobile payments integrated in signup/rebuy/addon flows.
It replaces google forms, it replaces emails, it replaces excel sheets. Your club members can at any point...

I really like it!
What I‘d love to add is a way to customize points for leaderboards, and to categorize events as league games and ‚regular‘ games. I do 10k single-re-buy tourneys for regular games and I plan to do a league with 30k freeze-out bounty tourneys for example. I have found a formula for points I‘d like to use.

Questions
1. Does the tool run on mycomputers?
2. Is the data stored on my computers?
3 what is the structure of the tournament data? Relational db?
4. Does it allow for running a league that has seasons?

Thanks in advance
HK

I've had that idea myself - some way to let people themselves customize how points should be awarded. However, I couldn't figure out a reasonable, generic way to do it. What I'm totally up for though is to implement a few different scoring models, so you can choose the one you want to use.
If you want, you can DM me how you want it to work and I'll implement it and you can select it as your scoring model for your leaderboard :-)

Can you explain a bit more what you mean? There is a setting where you can turn off player of the year scoring for a specific event.
So you can host for example your 10K events and just turn off so they are not counted towards the leaderboard.
And for your 30K events you can have it enabled, then it counts towards the board.

Or did you mean something else maybe? Or would you like it to be visible in the tournament card that "this is a player of the year scored event"?

Maybe not 100% intuitive, but to disable player of the year for an event you just drag the slider to 0

1.It's a website, so depends on what you mean by run on your computer :-)
You just use it via your browser.

2. The data is stored in the database I'm running, which is a relational database yes.
3. The site has a lot of features, so it's not just one table. It's quite massive, not gonna splurt it out here :D
4. Yes! You can create as many seasons as you want. The idea is that you can have your club running for many years, and just create new seasons.

Let me know if you have any more questions or need support with anything, super happy to help out :-)

That‘s very nice!! I‘ll send you a dm later!

That would work, but I‘d like to track stats of my regular tournaments as well without having the stats influence my league leaderboard, you know?
edit: not necessarily public to the club, just because I love to track everything lol

ShervinS- great idea can’t wait to try it. However when I go to the site and try to sign up I get an error code and it won’t let me move n. Any idea why?

Hey @TikiTeddy, awesome! I was just in the middle of doing some changes, giving everyone the "pro" features for free now, so sign up was temporarily down.
It's all up and working now :-)

ShervinS - all set up and good to go. Thanks

Glad to hear! If you have any issues or any feature requests, you can send me a dm here and I’ll help out 😎
