Sold *PRICE DROP* Del Webb’s Sahara Reno - Mint vintage Small Greek Key $1s (1 Viewer)

One rack of MINT hot stamped $1s on the Small Greek Key mold from Del Webb’s Sahara Reno. These were issued in the late 1970s I believe. The hot stamps are in perfect shape. I would say the color is cream or off-white.

It’s pretty crazy. I was born in 78 and theMOGH says these were issued that year ha. Wish I was in as good of shape as these haha.

When I bought the 42,000 of them originally, they were packed with newspaper around the boxes with stories of the Iranian hostage crisis. That dated them pretty well for me.

Very serious. Only time I ever bought a pallet load of chips. Also found five or six different Vegas chips from the 1950’s that no one had ever seen before. I have a picture of them somewhere.

One time I bought a 600 chip set of Lakeshore Inn’s for $1.00 each and sold it for $2.00 each. It was a tough sell. No one was buying sets, especially from unopened casinos, in those days. We used the set at our home poker game.
