The secondary chips don't get enough love:

:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:

I bought my set right after I returned from the WCB where we used these. Awesome set

I'm building this for the 3rd and final time. Cash game set, all I need is 2 racks of $1s (which I will obscenely overpay for).

Nice to see the love for the PNYs, they're certainly deserving of their own pron thread. My first PNY set was almost identical to what you've got pictured Big Jilm, but has mutated several times over the years. I've finally secured enough of the higher denoms to support a T5k setup for 20 players:

Also completed the cash portion of the set a year or two ago after a few impulse buys, lol. My tourney set gets used monthly, these unfortunately haven't seen any action. Hurts to say but I've been debating putting the cash set on the market, I'm just worried they'll end up being that one set that got away...

Here are all my babies:

And a few custom dealer buttons, the large old school ABC buttons (don't think they make these anymore):

love the plaques, who did them for you? I have a large set of secondaries and have been looking for some $1000 and $5000 plaques to go a long with my set.

I got the plaques from Old West Poker Supplies (I did the design myself).

Never opened, they failed to get their gaming license. Sure glad they made the chips though!

Some very nice sets here. So hard to build one of these unless you get lucky and find someone dumping them..

^^^ Nice, that's alotta red & green birds - what do you use the set for, something like a 1k or 2k starting stack tourney?

exactly.. it's pretty versatile.. both 1 and 2k depending on tourney length desired..
Also low stakes .5/.10 cash or drop the 5s out and start 25/50 for T5000 or as a .25/.50 cash set ($25 = $0.25, $100 = $1.. and so on)

These are just fantastic PCNY are the only chips I think I want to try and get after my customs are done. Those high denoms must cost a fortune.

Yeah the prices are fairly ridiculous for the $500s... and the $1ks, well, you could go out to dinner on one of those... someone stop me before I buy more ;)
Definitely cheaper route to get plaques made.

Putting together a large chipset isn't difficult. Putting together a chipset of rare chips is. The sheer numbers of $100, $500, and $1,000 chips is absolutely staggering :).

true true.. there is about $6,000+ US worth of $1k secondary chips in that set alone (assuming a current ~$30 / chip price).
15%+ of all 1K secondaries made (assuming 1,500 is accurate). I have around 1% :(
