Evening all, time for a quick update. As I previously mentioned, I've been working with Sal on some prototypes for the buttons. I got the first prototypes last week, overall they came out great but I had a few things I wanted to tweak (font color/thickness) before calling them finished and starting up the group by. Here's a scan of the prototypes:

And here are a couple of scans of the final artwork for each of the button, incorporating the tweaks:

I'm having one more prototype made just to make sure the tweaks look OK, then we'll be opening up the group buy thread. Prototypes typically take about 2 weeks.

Just an FYI, going to add one more button to the mix. As some of you may have seen posted elsewhere, after a bit of digging around last weekend I figured out some of the history behind the vessel that was scheduled to house the President Casino New Yorker (now called "Victory 1" and deployed in Port Canaveral in Florida by Victory Casino - more info here if you're interested). So I thought it would fun to mock up another button with a picture of the ship floating on the Hudson in front of the NYC skyline. Sal has the final general artwork files for button so the colors on the button below will be a little different than the OWPS mock ups above, but you should get the general picture. This is just a draft, I have to touch up the ship a bit to get rid of the new name and Victory Casino logo. Cheesy I know but I thought it fit with the set pretty well. :)

Yep, this is my new favorite.

I am still in for 2 of each (y)

Update:

I got the final prototype and we're all good to go now, here's a quick picture showing the final button color/font configuration tweaks (final button on the left):

Here are a few details on the group buy, to make sure everyone understands the process correctly. There will be 5 different buttons offered as part of this group buy:

Two Bridge Buttons (Button #1: Brooklyn / Manhattan ; Button #2: GWB / Williamsburg)

2 One World Trade Center Buttons (black/white) and 1 PNY Cruise Ship Button:

@OldWestPokerSupplies has graciously offered to handle collection of the orders and shipping directly to individuals. Once the group buy purchase thread is up and running, it will contain links directly to OWPS for you to place your button order. The order period will be open for two weeks. At the end of that period, the final numbers for each button will be tallied and then our full group buy order will be placed in the print queue. The print production time will be at least 2 to 3 weeks (maybe more depending on the final order size) after the full group buy order is placed, following which OWPS will begin shipping out everyone's orders directly.

Buttons will be $4 each. The purchase thread for the group buy will be going up later tonight, I will send out a PM to all those who have expressed interest to date.

Thanks for all the work. Still in for 2 each, and can't wait until the order page goes up (y)

I currently have 6 PNY buttons and only use 2 of them.. I'm picking up another 5 at minimum..
you do the math.. because I can't figure it out

Its similar math that I'm using to justify ordering another custom cpc set :)

Based on my math, you have too many chips, hence you decided to buy a lot buttons. Now that you are not suing all of your buttons, you should sell some of your chips. hint hint hint... (y)
