Completed *Pre Order - "Crown Series" PVC - Poker size/Large index - Marion Pro Stock & Finish* (1 Viewer)

Al,
Great job on the cards.! I love them so far. Kuo Kau premium card stock and your artwork is a marriage made in heaven. Can't wait for bridge size. I've been playing with Marion Pro Kuo Kai premium card stock for a while and there's been no issues so far.
Superb! Glad you are enjoying them :)

I’m a kickstarter backer. Never have received an email or cards. @AHPC
See above from Royal Mail. Also if you get your mail from a PO Box they may have sent it to the post office because they use USPS but used a physical address and if it doesn’t have your PO Box # on it they send it back.

Ask me how I know. Luckily the new girl here remembered me and kept it from going back today. If our regular postmaster was here he would have denied ever seeing it.

We got the store pre-orders out first because they were opened before the KS. We're hoping to have all KS rewards done over the next few days. Cheers!

I purchased through the website, I have not received my order.

Anyone who has received and play-tested their decks, if you are happy and willing to leave a review, it would help our small enterprise grow and would be appreciated! HERE

Also, out of curiosity, anyone who uses an automatic card shuffler, are you able to please let me know how you get on and what machine you are using? Thanks again!

Yes you did! I did send an email asking for a phone number (new requirement from US customs) - if you DM it to me I will get your parcel out. Cheers :)

Just in case anyone else who placed a pre-order through the store hasn't received either a tracking code or their poker sets, there is still one PCFer left to provide their phone number - please check your emails if you think it might be you, your parcel is sat on my desk ready to go out (I have no failsafe way of matching usernames to real names/orders). Thanks!

Hope you enjoy! For all those that placed a pre-order, your lifetime 10% discount code when ordering Crown Series Poker sets directly from us is POKER10 - this will only work with the email address you used to place the order - if you've any questions or if this doesn't work for you etc just let me know :) cheers!

I think mine are supposed to arrive today. Can’t wait to check them out.

Wow, these cards are great. They live up to my expectations, and beyond. About to order a few more for my poker buddies.

Got mine in yesterday. Some quick thoughts...

I was expecting the card stock to be rather stiff and textured akin to the Faded Spade offerings lately, as it's been established through detective work that Kuo Kao is the print house for Faded Spade. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the stock on these cards had a little bit of texture on the faces, and a matte finish on the backs of the cards. Not glossy like the cheap China made offerings. I would call it a linen finish on the faces.

The cards are about moderate in thickness, but have quite a bit of flex to them. I'd put them between Angel Aristo Club (most flex) and Dal Negro/Fournier (less flex) in terms of how they shuffle. Very easy and very nice to hand shuffle.

Back artwork is great! Not hard at all to determine which cards are purple and which are green. Card face artwork I like a lot! Red ink is very distinguishable from the black ink. Love the cream centered boxes. My only concerns (if anything) is how the numbered cards will look from the other end of a poker table to the other. If you're playing on a round table, no problem at all. Due to the font on these cards being quite narrow, I can easily see some mistakes being made from across the table if someone isn't counting the pips in the center box. I could see 4's and 7's, Aces and 4's, 2's and 3's and 5's all being mistaken for each other. The flip side of this is that if you're playing mixed games with these with three cards or more in the mitt, it's really easy to fan out the cards minimally and be able to read all of the cards, making them a viable option for non hold em play.

Put me in the +1 camp for bridge size cards with just a bit larger of an index on the same stock! Blue/red or orange/blue please if I have a vote!

I agree these play well in the mit for mixed games considering they are poker sized. The red ink is very nice with the colored faces.

My cards are stuck in customs. I have to declare the value of the shipping. Hopefully next week this will be gone through

I have yet to put them in play but my initial reactions were that they felt a little flexier than I would have expected but the texture is nice. That being said, I don't mind the flexiness of them because they don't feel slippery like cheap brands. I think the thing that threw me off the most when I first opened them was how orange the red ink looked compared to other cards.

Gave them a try at a game on Friday night. They worked well from a dealing and shuffling perspective. However, multiple players found that the index size was a bit too small for use on my 96" oval when looking from one end to another. We ended up swapping them out after a bit to another setup with jumbo index. If I had a round or hexagonal table, these would be a good option...just not the best option for my game.

I tried the cards at my last poker night on Saturday. No complaints, everything went as expected, confirming my initial good impression. The other players liked them. And the edges, which I found a little too rough, were smoother and softer by the end of the game.

I haven't been on the site much this year and missed this. Anyone is the US want to sell me a setup? I'm in CT.
