Watching DNegs' vlog for the last few years, I put some money on Pokerstake, but DNegs' action always sells out before I can buy it... So I just have this money on Pokerstake just sitting there...

Today, I backed Allen Kessler in multiple events (1 stake):

5/31 $10K Omaha 8 WSOP 2pm
6/3 $10K Dealer's Choice WSOP 2pm
6/6 $10K Stud WSOP 2pm
6/10 $10K PLO8 WSOP 2pm
6/14 $10K Big O WSOP 2pm
6/16 $10K Razz WSOP 2pm
6/18 $10K HORSE WSOP 2pm
6/26 $10K 2-7 Triple Draw WSOP 2pm
6/30 $10K Stud 8 WSOP 2pm
7/2 $10K 8 Game Mix WSOP 2pm

Even if I don't win, its worth the sweat. Plus, DNegs always talks to Allen on camera, so I'll get my daily updates on how Allen is doing.

I think u save money by missing out, DNegs is quite a losing player at WSOP events.

He even ends up in the red after winning a bracelet last year

Looks like he cashed in the 5/31 Omaha 8 event.
Niceeee

Does Poker tourney pro ever make money? It just seem like a lot of them are losing money instead

I also heard stories from pocast that some people only have 5% of their own actions for tournaments

I agree. Watching DNegs' vlog, during multiple bullets and high buyin tournaments, it seems like he's been in the red for the last few WSOPs.

Seems like -EV to play in as many events as he does.

Event #2 for the Chainsaw parley is the $10K Dealer's Choice.

Looks like he busted in 66th place; top 23 get paid. :confused

Me collecting my share...

Duh.

That was the wrong event (how could he cash for $3k in a $10k event?!). Kessler busted the $10k Omaha 8 event on Day 1.

You won't get rich backing Kessler (unless you can get a piece of his slots play) but it's probably a safe investment.

10 events at $10k each is $100k. I need him to win $100k total to break even (well, there is a 1% markup), and anything over that amount is gravy. Min pays are typically $20k, depending on the field size, so I just need 5 min cashes. Worst case scenario, he busts every tournament and I lose $20.

@CraigT78 has done much worse things over $20.
