I’m starting to collect some poker chips and I wanted to know if this is a good collection?

250x $50
300x $100
150x $500
50x $1000

Table (1) 8 players
15x $25 = $375
15x $50 = $400
10x $100 = $1000
6x $500 = $3000
4x $1000 = $4000
Total = 50 chips

Table (2) 16 players
12x $25 = $300
12x $50 = $600
8x $100 = $800
4x $500 = $2000
3x $1000 = $300
Total = 39 chips

Table (3) 24 players
8x $25 = $400
8x $50 = $400
6x $100 = $800
2x $500 = $1000
1x $1000 = $1000
Total = 25 chips

Skip the $50 chip, it's redundant with the $25 and $100.

Nothing. Is simply not needed. Two $25s for $50 is fine. Save the cash and buy more of the other denominations or even get a single barrel of $5000 in case you run a deep multi table game.

I'm guessing you are playing tourneys. Find videos from @Chris Manzoni on YouTube. He breaks down starting stacks and how to color up. That will help you finish your bank in prep for the game. 200 bb is good for starting stacks but 150 bb works well too if you need to spread out your set a few seats. Good luck.

Yeah, this looks like you’re looking for a T25-based tournament setup. Skip the T50 chips and get some T5000 chips.
