So far, we've voted on our favorite 25c $20 $25 and $1000 casino chips. We're currently picking our favorite $1 chip. Let's do $500 next.

Give me your favorite ONE or TWO casino $500 chips. Pics from chipguide are nice. Real pics of the chips are even better.

-Chip must have been used in a casino. An actual casino. Or card room.
-Secondary chips from casinos that used the primary rack are usually ok.
-No tourney chips. No NCV chips.

There are a few good THC choices for $500s, but they do not dominate the way THC normally does in the lower denominations. There are close to zero small crowns, but the ones that are there are heavy hitters. IHC and House molds could do well here. RHC chips will never win, you are wasting a nomination with one of those. I'll nominate chips here and there when I think there is a void. Let's start with...

I’m pretty sure the “$500” is centered like shit on that bird cruise chip as well!

No name, no location, nada -- just a fancy starburst. And not from a real casino, to boot. Anyone can put a poker table or a slot machine on a boat outside territorial waters and call it a casino, even if it's not one.
Nobody's called it a casino except you.

No need for a name on a chip that's only used at one place. And what location would you propose? "International Waters"? Using the home port makes no sense, because the chips are never used there.

Derby Gran is disqualified. Meant for a casino, allegedly, but never used in one.

That Sands 500 has to be one of the best chips I've ever seen.
It is a wonderful chip. AC made some all time great leaded chips, but 98% of them are house molds.

In the end though, can anything really beat a monarch staring at a serving girl’s rack? It was so nice of that pit boss to ignore his directive and NOT dump all the Kings Castle chips into the lake.

My appreciation for house molds, certain ones anyway, has grown since I've seen more. The true shame is that there are not quantities of AC house molds out there, at least not enough to build sets like we can with chips from other places.

And yes, who doesn't appreciate a beautiful rack?
