There should be a mildly robust buy/trade/sell market for these with that order total. That will make me sweat less about getting the numbers EXACTLY right for what I'm trying to do.

I wouldn't think there would be difficulty discerning the two. The cranberry is such a deep red and the pink is very light like bubblegum. Same with the two blue. Based on the pics they seem very discernible.

You will likely see these sold on the classifieds at some point and probably not much more than cost due to them being available for just about anyone through a Gemaco sales rep, however, things could get pricey should Gemaco decide they don't want to sell these any more. I'll keep you in mind if I eventually sell these.

Thanks

It is a good thing.

Oh but that feeling of relief when you eventually get out of debt. Such relief. Comparable to almost drowning in the ocean and saving yourself by walking the ocean floor to shore with lead boots on, or perhaps auto-erotic asphyxiation.
:)

The only better feeling is opening up that shipment of minty fresh chippies  :ROFLMAO::whistle: :whistling:

If I want to build a WSOP alike set with these;

20 Players, starting stack 50'000 in chips, enough chips for re-buys, color up etc.
Smallest denom 25. Ideally the set would also allow to start blinds with 100/200.

What kind of breakdown and how many chips would you propose? Maybe @BGinGA has a some good advice :)

Thanks!

While you are waiting, have you seen the Poker Chip Calculator?

https://www.pokerchipforum.com/pages/poker-chip-calculator/

(not @BGinGA approved) Plan to add some of his breakdowns to the quick add drop down menu in the near future.

I'm not the expert around here, but I would do this:

T25 x 160
T100 x 160
T500 x 160
T1000 x 240
T5000 x 200
T25000 x 80

Starting stack of 8/8/8/10/7

Placed my order!

Yes I did. The only thing is that I want to stay with 1000 chips and the calculator is proposing more

Adding the breakdowns would be a fantastic idea (y)

Maybe try using the Custom button for color ups.

T50000 starting stacks:
12 x T25
12 x T100
5 x T500

100 x T500
220 x T1000

1000 chips

Use the extra T5000 chips to color-up the T25/T100 chips, and use the T25000 chips to color-up the T500/T1000 chips (plus extras for larger stacks and/or re-buys).

20-player T50K blind structure (250bb):

Tournament will typically finish no later than L16 (25k/50k blinds).

Estimated total time (plus breaks):
  • 10-minute levels = 3.0 hours
  • 15-minute levels = 4.5 hours
  • 20-minute levels = 6.0 hours
  • 25-minute levels = 7.5 hours
  • 30-minute levels = 9.0 hours

I resolved I did not need another tournament set...

And then curiosity got the better of me when I read, "One of the following event hosts will receive a @BGinGA approved 300 chip 1 table tourney set for a meetup giveaway prize."

Hmmmm, (n) what would that be like?

Wouldn't you know, "400" AND "Tournament" Posted by Member BGinGA returned results too!

None of the search returns met my needs exactly, but they got me to thinking.

Which was about the exact moment my resolve began to wither... sonofa...

Order placed for a set of 390:

120 x T25
120 x T100
100 x T500
50 x T1000

12/12/7 for 10 plyr T5000 stacks with one Rebuy/Addon or 12/12/7/5 for 10 plyr T10000 stacks & using T500s for color ups of the T25s and T100s in either case.

I had a time deciding between a T5 - 500 vs T25 - 1000 set up. Eventually, for me, yellow trumped mulberry.

Um, I don't wanna rain on the parade, but does this matter?

Nah. That's 10 to 15 days lead time for 5000 chips max. Not a 5000 max order limit.

Ah, I suppose. Can't order 20,000 chips and expect them in 10-15 days, in other words. Makes sense (y)

300 chips took about 4 weeks.

390!?!? Just thinking of that fourth almost full rack gives me the shakes.
Could you add in 10 T5 for bounties? Just for my sake? I’d be happy to contribute the $8.70. :)
lol, no kidding.

If not 10x T5 for bounties, adding 10x T5000 chips would really balance out the set, and also allow for T15K stacks for 10 players. Also can be used to color-up the T500s when using T10K starting stacks. (y)

Updated Totals. Last day to order. Thx!

To anyone who hasn't seen the PCF 5yr chips or other examples of the fire orange, you're going to flip when you see it. It is HOT.

Good thing photos or renders can't really do it justice else we'd all have some monitor pixels blow out. You will have to reconsider any no-sunglasses rules if you use these chips. I put a light meter up to mine and found it was actually generating at least 20 lumens. You can literally use these chips as hand-warmers for chilly winter games in the garage. I accidentally left mine on a piece of paper overnight and it left a small scorch mark. Angle it just right off the mid-day sun and you will set things on fire. They did NOT mess around when naming this color.

Can't wait to see what the canary yellow and day green can do!
