I keep my humi at ~65% and ~65 degrees.

I agree 64-66% makes for best smoking right out of the humidor, but down towards 62% there is a concern of slightly over drying the cigars when storing for a long time.

I'll caveat that I'm new and don't know what I'm doing. I chose 62% as I read it will raise humidity to 64% in an airtight container. I have temp/humidity sensors around my house, I should put one in and see what's happening. For science.

Do you use the wine fridge, also? What hygrometers are those?

the humidor just went out a couple of weeks ago. I panicked because it’s been hot here. I scrambled and used an old wine fridge that was barely working and then I bought this other humidor. My wife laughed when I

unboxed it because it’s so much smaller . Yeah, I’ve cut back. So far, it’s doing the job. I think the hydrometer is called Caliber IV.

I recently bought myself another humidor and it has these large drawers which didn’t have dividers. I’m also a fan of the humidity beads and buy them in bulk so I wanted to kill two birds with one stone by making a humidifier that would also serve as a divider. Bust out the laser cutter and I’m pretty happy with the results!
