Here is an Old Standard - goes well in any humidor. Needed a little different flavor earlier today - in my fortress of solitude...celebrating a minor win today...
I need to just list my cigars. I’ve a ton of premiums you guys love that have been just going in my humidors for nearly a decade. I’ve smoked maybe 4 cigars in the past 3 years and now that I quit drinking, that number has been zero cigars in 20 months. Unlikely to change. My brain can’t have a cigar without scotch. I’ll post some pics if people are interested in several hundred lovely sticks. Humidors happily included, including a cabinet that has 15 or more boxes in it. Some Cubans I picked up in Dominican Republic back in 2016. A ton of DRs, like Davidoffs, etc. Anyway, just need to find them some homes that would appreciate them. Not sure I ever will at this point.

I’m not teasing you guys. I’ll post pics soon. Just woke up from an all nighter and I think we are playing again in a few hours. If so, it’ll be tomorrow or so before I have a chance. But, I’ve been thinking about this for over a year. They’re just being wasted sitting in my humidors. Someone should enjoy. Pics to come, I promise.

I promise to do a deep dive and take pics of individual cigars all laid out, take inventory and all that shit asap. For now, this will have to suffice. But, you’ll get an idea at least….
Anyone interested in obtaining the entire collection has my attention. The sticks have been loved in spite of me not smoking the past many years. They are still in immaculate smoking condition. I’ve given several away to poker buddies recently who can attest to burning absolutely perfectly. And I know ten times more about cigars than poker chips, so please don’t come at me with some bullshit about being worth less because they’re old or something stupid. I’m willing to be extremely generous. I’m also willing to just sit on the collection for another decade in case I decide to start smoking again. I’m far from needing the cash. So, with that said, here’s what I’m after.
Hokey as it sounds, I just want them to be appreciated by a person or people who know the value of an outstanding cigar vs something they picked up at their local cigar shop fresh off the UPS truck. Kind of like the person how knows the difference between say a THC and a China clay.
I’m not looking for their actual value. Just a happy home or homes.
While I’d split them up, I’d prefer to send them to one person. But, we all know how that’s likely to go. I’d sell them sure, cash is king. But, I’d also consider interesting trade offers. I have acquired a shitload of Paulson’s over the past 4 months, so I’m not interested in just anything. But, if you have something equally interesting, I’m all ears. And whoever is on the shorter side of the trade can make it even with cash.
Anyone who comes at me thinking I’m getting pushed around, because I’m the “noob”…. Just don’t. I’m willing to offer an amazing deal. Being a sweet human will get you significantly further than being a dick with a fat wallet. I’m doing just fine in that department, thank you.

For anyone curious, I get asked all the time what my personal favorite smoke is. It’s a Man of War Runination. That’s what these are and why there are so many. Anytime I stumbled across them, as they are very difficult to find, I bought them all.
This is what you’ll see for years at a time and I definitely prefer the belicoso. Much easier to find in a toro, etc
Being a poker site, we could also assign them a cash value and play for them.

I love AJ Fernandez sticks, but Ruination is a bit light for me. I used to get them in sampler packs for about $4 a stick, but I haven't had one in a long time.

Was merely stating what they were and why I had so many. These were purchased ten years ago. For all I know, they’re readily available. I’m not looking to acquire any cigars, but thanks for the heads up.
I was asked for what I had and if I was willing to part with them. I no longer smoke cigars. If you don’t like my sticks, you’re certainly entitled to your own opinion and preferences. When I was smoking, my choice of sticks varied wildly, depending on what I was drinking. A Cuban Cohiba is absolute nails, but if I’m drinking a crown and coke, I’m not wasting that good of a smoke. I’ll do a Man O War, as a daily smoke. For a Balvenie type night, the man o war can stay in the cabinet. I’ll have a cigar that pairs a bit nicer, price wise and taste.
I was about to edit my post (I know you aren't a buyer), for anyone looking for Ruination sticks. I get it, I have my go-to cigars. I do like the blast of pepper of the Ruination upon lighting.
My cigar buddies and I have a big Outer Banks week-long trip coming in Oct. I'm sure we'd be interested in some Cubans, especially Padrons. DM me if you'd part with a box.
We are die-hard appreciators of good sticks, especially aged ones well kept. We've been doing this trip for 9 years and plan to keep it going as long as we can. It's a weeklong of smoking, drinking, poker and "fishing...hahaha."
The best part is we have a friend who is a Chef so we don't lose any time getting our sticks in.
