I do enjoy good cigars. For poker game some lighter formats like panatella.
Still I smoke my favorite Tatuaje Cazadores and Hoyo de Monterrey Palmas.
For heads up (my best game) I engorge myself with Gurkha Rogue Tyrant.
Key thing is a volume of smoke while other players are present.
Also like Partagas and Cohiba but as a cigarette.....

Long time favorite are Cohiba red dot. Although, when on fishing trips and need a quick smoke, the little Tabak cigars have great flavor and have been my go to

I got this humidor last week. Love it, but having a hard time getting it up to 68-72 % humidity which it recommends. I’m at about 60 and I have no cigars in it, a small bowl of water, a shot glass of water and the humidifier it came with. Any ideas? How long should it take to season it? Thx!

A lot depends on how it was stored before you bought it. If it was kept in a very dry place, it could take a couple weeks to get to stability. Just keep doing what you’re doing until it stabilizes. Just check the seal etc around the edges to make sure there aren’t any gaps letting humidity out.

Those analog gauges are notorious for being inaccurate. I love boveda packs and dont know many that wouldnt recommend them. Over the years Ive come to prefer 62-65 humidity anyway. No need to drybox them and if you order cubans you'll need them lower humidity anyway. So u might be in luck if it turns out your tastes are similiar to mine.
