Is the list of styles posted somewhere? It’s hard to design just going by the numbers

When I move between machines, I cannot open sets created elsewhere. Where do these "sets" get saved and more importantly, how can we back them up (I cleared browser cookies and *poof* all gone  )?

what an awesome tool, can zou tell me how you did it.
like to understand the technic

Feature request: style #22 should allow two colors for the V spots. Proof:

Is this design tool just for fun? As far as I understand, its has not been possible to order custom Paulson and TKR chips anywhere for a long time...
Is it possible to make custom clay ships somewhere other thas CPC?

For fun.

Some people have gotten Paulson sets made and used it, but it's a skill only a few have with the correct connections.

A lot of us semi-customize Paulson chips with overlabel or full inlay replacement, so this tool allows us to visualize it before starting the project in earnest.

Should open a new window than you can right click and save it to where you want.

That's what I've been doing, but the process and wording indicates an export has occurred before that. So I thought there might be a big pile of pngs somewhere.

Great tool love using it. additional features to consider is a paid version to remove watermarks (not sure if this is allowed though because the top hat and cane is probably IP of GPI or whatnot) and "dirty stack checker" to see how certain chips of one denomination fit in a dirty stack of another denomination.

This is my issue. I use computer at home and office and laptop. I went to f*ck around [and I found out]. I assumed that designs were tied to my PCF login and password.

Anybody play with cookie import and export....

and like @BillyBluff said. the biggest fear is *poof* all your designs are gone.

It does seem like it would be straightforward to serialize the cookie data as a JSON file for direct download/import.

You’d think. I tried and couldn’t get it working. Eventually I recreated the designs I cared about on a virtual machine I can connect to from anywhere. Solved immediate frustration but still a problem if that virtual machine dies.

Save as png in image files with 2 sides and deets remains the only way to backup a design afaict.

As soon as I finish with the Marketplace, I will see about an upgrade for the chip tool so you can export and import your saved chip sets.
Thanks, that seems like a good enhancement. If you are clever with how you serialize the data it might be able to be encoded into a set of URL parameters to make them sharable between users as links.

I’ve added a new feature to the chip tool. At the bottom of the page, you’ll now find an “Export / Import” section. After importing, refresh the page to see your sets appear in the tool's saved sets list.
