Hey all, just finishing up my first cash set after buying some Horseshoe Cleveland sets and I'd like some quarters to go with them. While I'd prefer something with the actual denom on them, I'm not opposed to starbursts or something else if they're easier and/or cheaper to get a hold of.

Other than avoiding white and red, I've got no preference on color. Looking for 2 racks.

I have these

The actual chips are the middle one, from the garden city casino. I had labels made to see how they would look with two other sets. I didn't end up using them. You can get labels made that mimic the horseshoes by @Gear for 0.10 a piece.

Indeed, and usually the color match is better

I think they look great. The color on the inlay is usually a tad lighter than the outside color, isn't it?

I recall some other threads/discussions about this, and IIRC, I think the general consensus was something to the effect that: 1) the casinos/Paulson don't spend too much time or effort trying to get an exact color match when they have same color inlays on chips, so by default, most casino chips have slightly mis-matched color inlays; and 2) that it's hard to color match the clay formula to an inlay, and vice-versa, exactly without a lot of trial and error. [i.e. when chips are made, the inlay & clay are molded together at the same time, but when aftermarket labels are made, they can be color-matched to the actual clay of the chip the labels will be placed on.]

Also, some clay colors will darken over time due to handling/hand oils/dirt, etc.
