Cash Game Optimal Cash Game Chip Set with 900 Chips for 20$/25$/50$/100$/200$ Buy-ins (1 Viewer)

@Ben8257 Love a good Ben Book.

I have the following

(100) $.01
(200) $.25
(250) $1
(400) $5 [4th rack remains unfelted]
(80) $25
(20) $100

200 Quarters to spread 5c/10c a bit easier. 250 $1s to spread two tables as well.
Never really touched the $100s in my 25c/50c game.

I know… it’s been a while on the Ben books! Lol

Also if we added nickles or Pennie’s my quarter breakdown would be more as the quarter can be the work horse early in that game. I was just going off the $.25/$.50 asked for.

re limps: NLHE doesn't reward slowplay or limping. Problem is, if you play with friends, they will be annoyed when strong hands scatter them away or when weak hands pay their strong hands with better odds (if they can figure this out). Allowing for straddles (keep it simple: 2bb UTG) can help shake it up to a point. Ante don't really give an incentive to bet or defend as opposed to sb/bb when blinds bet at a discount.

Correct, it's one table.
I said that we'll mostly be around 6 players but it's planned that the set should cover up to 10 players.

I'm hesitant on buying a non-denominated chip and will keep the 120x 0.25c and won't add any 0.5c chips as I've read that you should always keep a ratio of 4 or 5 times the value from one chip to the next i.e. 0.25/1/5/25 - 4x5x5

Regarding your breakdown suggestion I've a few questions:

Questions:
1.
The new breakdown would look like this:

DenominationChips
0.25120
1200
5400
25100
10080

Total chips: 900
Total bank: 12'730$

I've removed 20 chips so it's a 9 rack set.

Does this seem alright, or should I use the following to have a bigger bank?

DenominationChips
0.25120
1200
5400
2590
10090

2. Do you think these updated starting stacks seem good, any suggestion?

3. Any reason you replaced the 25$ denomination with 20$? (in the breakdown above I put in 25$ again)

We do all buy-ins digitally so it doesn't matter that there's no 25$ bills.
I'm hosting a .25/.50 cash game soon with $100 (200 BB) buy in - right now thinking of this stack:

12 x .25
12 x 1
9 x 5
2 x 20

35 chips
