Paging @Anthony Martino
Have you seen the big chips at Hard Rock Tampa ($5000+) ?

They only go to 1k in the poker room, no chocolates

But got a buddy who plays Blackjack for higher stakes

Went on Instagram to see if I could spot anything other than what's on chipguide.themogh.org, nothing really different, but still thought I'd share. Hooker juice a-plenty tho. Does look like there are 2 solid tourney sets, 1 black label and 1 white. Still weird to me that some chips are THC and some rhc. Maybe it's my ocd.

Just imagine if the secondary’s are absolutely vibrant and nice colors. I’m not seeing it happen to that degree but fingers crossed. Comparing these primary’s to HSI primary , aside from the deuce snapper and 1k the HSI wins on the other denoms and inlay as well. HSI inlay way better IMO

These are clean compared to some I’ve scrubbed.
Yikes! I have seen them get dirty, but just can't get past brown blobs on the surface of the chip. Did they take them to the bathroom? I have seen people put these on the top of an open beer bottle "to protect the contents while away from the table".

Were there any card set ups as part of the sale?

I'd be interested in some plastic decks if there were any that came with the lot that aren't too terribly warped or bowed.

And those $5s have a mix of grand AND giant inlay...
This is the sort of thing I just can't understand. Seriously, who was making the decision to mix some grand, some Giant inlays on RHC's and then toss in a few THC's and while you are at it why not toss some 7/8" inlays on the tournament chips. Sure, that looks good....

I hesitate to post this because I have no pics...I believe the primary $5Ks are gray based and either 618 or 8A18 edge spots, not positive on the colors. The craps table outside the poker room used to have a stack or two.

I used to play there fairly often, obv never had them in my possession. Apologize in advance if this is not the case. Jack stack pic below.

Just gotta wait for Hard Rock to get bought out now, this is a kickass 43mm house mold. View attachment 643246
The whole line up is really nice. Looks like they put some effort in putting this lineup together. Colour matched inlays to an edgespot colour. A different inlay image and faux shape per denom. Kudos for spending some time in thinking about it.

The 1s and the snappers are definitely worth harvesting. Is anyone onto this yet?

My obvious opinion... The 1's and snappers will sellout immediately. The murdering will be what @Josh Kifer only dreams about.

The rest of the chips are so-so imo, and will probably stick around for a while. Much like the ioc 5's.

Haven’t seen anything about fracs in this set...may have missed it as the page count has climbed significantly. Anyone have info on whether we can expect any fracs (not that I’d consider chances of getting them super high)?

No fracs in Ohio. Jack Detroit had them, because most Michigan casinos, if not all, have to have a frac.

Correct state regulations. Believe only states that have them are MI, IN, MO could be more but those are the most prominent.

It’s so common for casinos to issue special event (like grand opening) chips with giant inlays. Clearly they’re doing that because there’s more space for the art, to show off the special event. Personally I’m grateful that they only use these giant inlays for the “special” chips.
