In my opinion, the worst case of this is when some old timer uses ONLY abbreviations in both the title and the body of his sale ad, THEN posts photos only showing the EDGES OF THE CHIPS!!! What the actual F#@% !!!

I believe it's absolutely a secret code and it's intentional so all his oldtimer buddies can get the jump on buying them before some n00b even figures out what they are.

I HATE ALL THESE ABBREVIATIONS!

My GOD! I didn't know so may stenographers played poker.

What is up with everything getting abbreviated? One guy was talking about casinos and said he liked WC. I had NO FUCKING CLUE he was talking about Wind Creek in Bethlehem, Pa and that's my local casino!

Is it the age group on here? Is everyone still using a flip phone? Gotta hit the #1 three times to get a "C" ?

It's like a secret language sometimes. At least reference something proper one time before going into short hand. Had someone once wrote: Presidents Casino on the Admiral (PCA) I wouldn't have wasted time searching for its reference.

Tommy getting the abbreviations links was a big help but only so much.

Ok. I feel better now. I can handle this. I've gotten better. But just know that by you abbreviating something to quicken your post leads others searching sometimes endlessly for its meaning.

I agree with you. Not just here, but the acronyms often just cause more confusion. Clear communication seems like a dying art form.
