Silver Star Las Vegas is 1978. I don't know of any mint set that is older...but I'm sure there is something in @pltrgyst or @BGinGA collections.

If you are referring to @navels huge find, those were issued in 1979, according to ChipGuide...but close enough for me. Both Silver Star and those Trops are beautiful hot stamps.

The Trops were definitely not mint. Nor comprised a "full set".

I've got a mint rack of Shy Clown hundos from 1976, that's the best I can do.

I got a couple mint racks from MINT CLUB, RENO, which is 1959. But I've put them in play, so we'll call them Near Mint.
But it's nowhere near a complete set.

Not me. Thinking about it, I'm not sure I'd want a really old mint set -- that would seem freakish.
