So I thought about the thread thing and what you guys said, maybe this will work. I can post my videos in this thread so that way they are all in one place and post updates about cool things that I find or get! Hopefully you guys have enjoyed all the videos I've been making and there's no stopping as of right now. This week is Christmas so I hope you guys have been staying safe and healthy as we approach it.

Today's video is about the Vegas World, a place that I don't think many people know about but it is seen as a Vegas landmark in my eyes. It was Stupak's dream to have his own casino and he was a well known gambler which helped bring some of the biggest players to the Vegas World. As many of you know the Tournament chips from the 1980s are awesome and I even found photos of Stupak, Ungar and Chan playing with them. Enjoy the video and let me know what you thought about it! Thanks again for all the support guys, it truly means a lot!

Enjoyed learning more about those places. Definitely remember going into BS Veg W and staying at the Landmark

Another great video @Okku. I was too young to have ever been to Vegas World but I have played cards at and have been up in the Stratosphere tower a few times.
Have ridden the “Big Shot” ride on top and dined at the revolving restaurant.
Would love to hear your presentation of the history of the Nevada Lodge/Club and of Pick Hobson’s Riverside in Reno.

Been to the Stratosphere plenty of times as well showing family members visiting my family here in Vegas, glad you enjoyed another video! I was actually just thinking about doing a video on those two spots so I'll definitely make sure that those get done!

I would love to see you do a video on The Dunes. There definitely live on here for their great chips! On a personal note I’d also love to learn more about its history as I use to stay there often. The rooms were nice and inexpensive. My buddies and I use to call it The Doomed. It seems like there was never any action in the place compared to other hotels on the strip. They had a really small poker room. We use to call the guy that ran the poker room Bogey because he looked like Humphrey Bogart.

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you have had a good one and been able to enjoy it family. Since it's Christmas I wanted to cover a special casino that was located in Reno called the Christmas Tree. Originally it was opened up as a bar but would soon have games, it was an amazing and favorite of the locals and ran all the up until around 2003. Here's the link if you'd like to watch, if you have any memories from there share with everyone. I bet it was an amazing place!

Today I talk about the Little Caesars Casino which was a little "hole in the wall" place located in a strip mall on the strip from 1970-1994. Bob Stupak's famous $1 million bet was made there as well as their unique artwork on the chips and tables.

Here's the link if you'd like to watch:

All y'all degenerates with hot dog rollers at home oughtta be putting up a Little Caesar's sign and charging a dollar for 'em.

Well, well, well today I feel like we have a special video to everyone here on PCF has many on here have sets made from this casino that was located in Reno. Today we talk about the Riverside Casino which was owned by Jessie Beck, Pick Hobson and many others from the years of around 1870 until 1997. This one was requested by @Lil Tuna and thank you sir! This was a fun one and definitely learned a lot about this place. I hope all you enjoy watching this one and now I have the urge to get some of these chips since I don't have any!

Also I'd like to page some others by the names of @gopherblue @AfterTheFact

If you know anyone else that has these or is a major TRK fan tag them!!

Thanks again guys! Love making these videos and learning about these places. Here's the link:

Loved the video Oscar! Very informative, I had no idea how many times the Riverside changed hands throughout its history. The Pick Hobson chips are the chips that got me into TRKs with a little help from @detroitdad selling me my first couple barrels of the $25s.
I’m a huge fan of history and it’s a big part of the reason I collect the chips and sets that I do. Keep these great videos coming Oscar, they never get old to me. GREAT WORK!
@liftapint, @Seeking Alpha Social Club, @Ben8257,@FordPickup92, @AfterTheFact, @JFCJ, @gopherblue, @leo822, @coolcustomer123, @Windwalker, @Godzilla28, @RainmanTrail, @Jeevansluck, @Hornet, @Jackstraw, @RichMahogany, @detroitdad and any other fan of TRKs, check out Oscar’s videos!

Thank you very much! Means a lot seriously!

Great video, but I was disappointed that there wasn't much information about who the heck "Pick Hobson" and "Jessie Beck" were.

Happy New Years everyone! Hope you all stayed safe and enjoyed this rather different New Years. Today I made a video talking about the Hotel Elwell that was located downtown in the early 50s up until the mid 60s. I haven't been able to find too much information about this place and in my eyes it was a rather small place considering it was the largest commercial hotel located in downtown Las Vegas at one point! Only 3 chips known to have come out of that place and they are rarely seen for sale on eBay. Let me know what you think and have an amazing rest of your day/weekend!

Currently working or at least trying to work on a few other videos that others have wanted to see as well, so keep your eyes open for new videos being uploaded!

Little bit of a different video on my channel. Not sure how many if any of you guys are into cars but I have a 2005 Procharged GTO that my family has had since 2005. I drive it around now and haven't been driving it much lately but there's plans for it in the near future. I also talk about my plans for 2021 regarding school and uploading videos etc. Another history video going up on Wednesday, one that I think many people here on PCF will really enjoy!

Just watched your video Oscar! Love the car and I think in time it will become a collector. I’m not a mechanic so I wouldn’t go giving anyone advice on what to change spec wise with a motor or making a car faster for that matter.
As a person who has owned several performance cars in my time, I would suggest leaving the car cosmetically and mechanically as stock as possible. Spend your money on keeping the car mechanically sound, in top shape and to factory specs. This will bring you more top dollar and hold the cars value most in the future.
A person your age is going to change their outlook on things very much over the next 10-15 years. I would be one to wager that you’d regret making changes to the GTO at some point. Enjoy the vehicle for what it is. The money you’ll save not changing the car and the money you’ll get in return should you ever sell the car would ad up to quite a bit if you invested the same amount in say some solid stocks for your future.
Not trying to sound like an old fudy dudy, just trying to give some sound advice from a person who’s learned much the hard way in life.
Best wishes on your future choices what ever you decide they will be and keep the videos coming, I enjoy them much.

Matt,

I agree with what you are talking about. I don't think I'll ever get rid of this car though. It's been in my family for so long and it was my dream to own it one day and get to drive it around. I don't take anything in a negative way from those who are older, I always try to learn from what they are talking about because that's probably the easiest way to learn how to do things. Stocks and stuff like that are definitely something I'm in already and probably will always be. I think those are great ways to earn income without really having to do anything at all.

Thanks for watching the videos as always and like I said I think you'll enjoy the video going up on Wednesday. It was another one of the ones that you wanted to see. Keep your eyes peeled my friend..........

Today we talk about the Nevada Club and Nevada Lodge Casinos that were located in Reno and Lake Tahoe! These have got to be some of the most favorite chips of the chip collecting hobby, these beautiful amazing TRKs are still being used today by so many and there are so many amazing sets of these around. It was originally known as Robbins' Nevada Club but then would get a name change to just the Nevada Club. Some very interesting personalities ran and even played at the Nevada Club like LaVere Redfield who even got his own chips made specifically for him! I hope everyone enjoys this one and let me know if you know anything else that I didn't get.

Where's the Nevada Club / Nevada Lodge mega collectors!?!?
