Yeah, it's pressed together with the chip, so all the texture ends up on the inlay instead of the chip.

How much thinner are they when released from the inlay-clamp?
Hopefully this shows it well. I don't have a measurement device to accurately measure the difference.

Today we are doing a part 2 to the "Most INSANE TR King Casino Chips Sets Ever!". In today's episode we talk about some Kings Crown hot stamped sets, some of the sets that I mentioned in my Kings Crown video from the other week, some Nevada Club sets, a Money Tree set and more! This one is a good one so I hope you guys enjoy. This is all made up of hours and hours of sitting on PCF and looking at these sets. I could do it for days, but I'm not sure if I'd ever get anything done at that point. Let me know which one was your favorite and let's share this with everyone!! I'm going to start looking into other manufacturers too like Paulson, Bud Jones, Matsui, Abbiati and more here in the near future. I think that would be a very fun idea.

Here's the link:

Also for those curious... The Crystal Park secondary chips can be stamped after the inlays are taken off. This is just a rough test, but it is possible. It would probably stamp much nicer if a circular die is being used and not a square die like most are. One side is stamped twice after it didn't have enough pressure.

Can anyone link me to some of the OG BCC stuff? I want to research and learn more about BCC sets and BCC in general.

Whoever has the NUTS BCC stuff, hook me up!

I used to own BCC Mardi Gras V1s, V2s, and Monterey Club Commemoratives. I wish I never sold them. I'd also be very interested in learning more about BCC in general. I hope you make a vid about it!

Today we talk about some interesting auctions that sold on eBay for the holiday weekend of New Years and some over Christmas! Some crazy prices that I was not expecting to see especially for the Fitzgeralds TRK sample set from the "Fitzgeralds Hoard". Along with that there were some nicer seldom seen chips like a Chick's Club 50c, Mickeys 10c and 50c, Cactus Pete's plain mold roulette and more. Really enjoying seeing some of the harder to find stuff pop up on eBay and hope everyone had an amazing New Years. I'm planning on creating a best of 2022 video that I should have up by the end of the week! Thank you guys so much for all of the support throughout 2022 and let's continue having fun!

Today we talk about the new upcoming changes coming to the Mirage Casino in Las Vegas. The Mirage was bought for nearly $1.1 billion. It will be the first hotel/casino on the strip to be run by a Native American Tribe. The theme and look will be the similar to the other Hard Rock casinos that are located across the US and the world with resorts in Biloxi, Lake Tahoe, Tampa, Hollywood, Gary Indiana and more. The original building will be staying for now, but they are planning on revamping the whole interior and of course slightly changing the outside. The Guitar Hotel is planned to be about 700 feet tall nearly as tall as the Fontainebleau Tower. The hotel will also feature an infinity-edge rooftop pool. I'm most interested in the chips like many others. Hopefully they'll be better than the Horseshoe chips and feature different styles of guitars! Hope you enjoy!

I regret to inform you that the HardRock in Hollywood, Tampa, and Biloxi all use RHC with oversized inlays. I believe the one in Lake Tahoe does as well, but the HardRock Cincinnati uses normal inlays with a 43mm house-mold on chips $500+. All HardRock properties have 43mm for $500 and up to my knowledge. The HardRock in Punta Cana, DR was 50/50 oversized inlay RHC and ceramic for $100 and below with blaze orange 43mm $25k's. The guitar hotel is gonna be swank though. I went to the HardRock Holly before and after the renovation and the new hotel is a massive massive upgrade.

Should be interesting to see what happens. I'm not a fan of the oversized inlays, but if they can make the artwork look nice I'd be a fan. Anything other than a bland inlay that doesn't scream Hard Rock will be nice! I'll have to visit opening weekend and check it out if I can.

Today we quickly talk about how there was recently a Diamond Jim's Jackpot NV chip hoard found and posted online. The hoard was found by a user on PokerChipForum as they were inherited from their grandparents. After the user found a bit more information they said that their grandparents used to be friends with the owner of Diamond Jim's, who after the casino closed left the chips with the user's grandparents. It's basically an almost perfect cash set to play with on a small table. The set consists of 1 rack of $1s, 3 racks of $5s and about 45 of the $25s. These aren't the more expensive version of these chips, but they are still quite expensive and not something you see regularly. The $25s are the real money here as they normally sell for around $80-100 per chip. Such an awesome find and something that I would love to own as I have a soft spot for older vintage chips. SO COOL! Hope you enjoy!

Today we'll be talking about the Midway Chuck Wagon that was located in San Diego, California from the years of 1956 up until the 1980s. It was said to be an "all you can eat" buffet style eatery and could be found at 2855 Midway Street. I've had some trouble finding information about this place, but I've dug deep and was able to find some stuff that I wanted to share with you. The owner was Yale Kahn and Kahn was someone that was well known around the San Diego area. Along side the Midway Chuck Wagon, Yale Kahn ran Top's Nightclub, Texas Liquor Houses, the Roaring 20's Nightclub on Fletcher Parkway, a Nightclub in the Clairmont Bowl and Bradley's (restaurant and nightclub). The Midway Chuck Wagon was one of his most popular venues in San Diego and that's because of the Gaslamp Room. The Gaslamp Room was home to performing acts like Louis Prima, Billy Daniels, Shelly Berman, Mort Saul and Dr. Dean along with others. Inside the Midway Chuck Wagon you could find yourself eating in the main dining room, the Longbranch Saloon, Fireside Room, Calico Room and the Gaslamp/Gaslight Room. It was furnished like an old saloon style bar and restaurant that was fitting for any family wanting to take their kids to eat. In 1967, you could get yourself an all you can eat lunch for $1.09, that included beverages and a dessert. NOW imagine that! That must have been absolutely delicious. Around that same time it was about $3.49 for a dinner and then later increased to $3.99. For a college student back then it would have been a lot, but considering it was all you can eat I'm not sure you could go wrong at that point. The restaurant itself was said to have very nice tablecloths and burgundy booths. Along with the food and exciting environment that the Midway Chuck Wagon offered, they also had chips made which most people probably didn't know about. Of which some were recently found and they were found in Las Vegas. The owner's grandpa used to be one of the managers there in the 60s. I'm not 100% sure about the history about these chips and I'm always trying to learn from others, but haven't been able to find any information about how they were given away or who got them. I did read on TheChipBoard that they were possibly given out to performing acts or the movie production crews that were filming around the building. That or they could have been given to guests when they enjoyed themselves or those that stopped in regularly, that's all information I'm still trying to gather, but maybe someone out there knows how they were given out and more information. The Midway Chuck Wagon was a HIT in San Diego and did very well for the time that it was there. I'm sure many have fond memories of visiting the place, eating the food and enjoying the environment with family. I'd love to hear more stories if anyone has any because is just fascinates me and I'm sure it would bring back the good days!

Today we have another installation of The Chip List! This time there were some pretty unique prototypes sold over the last week or so along with some higher end singles that aren't seen too often. To being there was a Sheraton Desert Inn $100k baccarat, Las Vegas Hilton $25k baccarat, Treasure Island $1000 roulette mold and other prototypes that sold for some good money. These are probably one of a kind chips or there might be one other one. I think that's usually how prototypes are done because there aren't a large production of them. Then, there was a Flamingo $25 from 1946, we call these "Bugsy" chips, that sold for a good amount. That's a chip that isn't seen too often and then some other nice singles selling for a high amount. Hope you enjoy!

Nice job. That first small crown chip was discussed here a few years back. Nice pick up whoever got it. I would have payed around $20 for it.

Today we talk about some new chips that I received the other day. Some chips that in their original form I would've never been able to find and especially in this quantity. These are the newest addition to my chip collection. They are Bellagio 39mm Ceramics that are "no mold textured" chips. They are made in China and they are as close to the original chips as you can get. The same was done about a year or so ago with Aria chips but the name was changed to "Aria's" and then others have followed suit. I believe these are fun and exciting because it gives the opportunity for those in the chip community to own a playable set of chips that they'd normally never be able to find elsewhere. Now I'll be able to play with one of my all time favorites chips on the tables soon! Hope you enjoy!

Today we go over my favorite chips in my collection at the moment. I believe I've done something similar to this before, but this time I wanted to focus on 6 of my favorites that either have a story behind them, the history of the place, the way it looks or the overall value of the chip. I've quickly grown my collection in the last 3 years and it's incredible to see where it is at now. These chips are my favorites to use as card guards/card protectors when I'm playing some cards and some of my favorites to talk to other collectors about. They are all so unique and different which makes them great. I'd love to say that other collectors out there should try to get these chips if they don't have one already. They're absolutely beautiful and some of the nicest chips I've ever seen. Some more boring than others, but that's all for the collector to admire and choose from. The Nevada Club $20 will ALWAYS be my #1. I seem to use it every time I play, it's my PCF profile picture and so much more. The GOAT chip ever! Hope you enjoy!

Today we stopped by Charleston Antique Mall again here in Las Vegas and decided to look around. Last time I had quite the surprise finding an amazing chip that I would've never imagined finding. This time around I found two chips for my collection, but also saw some very cool items that I thought were worth showing to you. First off, I found a 1977 Castaways Casino phone book! Like did I ever think I was going to find something like this? Nope! It looks very nice and just something you'd probably never see. Then, the usual casino chips, dice, ashtrays, swizzle sticks, postcards, matches and more. I did see one or two Dunes $1 harem girl chips for $55 each, plus a bunch of the standard common chips. I picked up a Paradise Island $2.50 and Horseshoe Gardena $50 for my personal collection which for $5 each I didn't think was a bad price at all. Then, I show you guys the new Rampart Year of the Rabbit $5 chip and talked about the Casinorama show coming up this weekend (Feb 3rd & 4th). Hope you enjoy!

Today we quickly talk about the Casinorama Casino Collectibles show that is going to be at the Gold Coast Casino in Las Vegas, NV tomorrow (Feb 3rd 10am-6pm and Feb 4th 10am-3pm). This is a great show to go pick up any type of casino collectible that you might be looking for. Many go for the chips, but you can find decks, slot glass, tokens and more from the 25 dealers that will be in attendance. Many will be coming by to see what's available and spending time with each other. I'll most likely be there for a few hours on Friday morning, but not sure about Saturday. Hoping to possibly pick up a few chips, but you never know what you'll be able to find! Hope you enjoy!

So I thought about the thread thing and what you guys said, maybe this will work. I can post my videos in this thread so that way they are all in one place and post updates about cool things that I find or get! Hopefully you guys have enjoyed all the videos I've been making and there's no stopping as of right now. This week is Christmas so I hope you guys have been staying safe and healthy as we approach it.

Today's video is about the Vegas World, a place that I don't think many people know about but it is seen as a Vegas landmark in my eyes. It was Stupak's dream to have his own casino and he was a well known gambler which helped bring some of the biggest players to the Vegas World. As many of you know the Tournament chips from the 1980s are awesome and I even found photos of Stupak, Ungar and Chan playing with them. Enjoy the video and let me know what you thought about it! Thanks again for all the support guys, it truly means a lot!

I got to deal to this guy several times at the Horseshoe about 20 years ago. I remember he was really messed up from a motorcycle accident. He wasn't the nicest guy he was a terror to deal to but I only heard stories - I never had a problem with him. He certainly was a tough old bird with an alpha personality. I remember one time up in Benny's Bullpen he was playing a big game with Larry Flynt and a few other muckie mucks. I remember the floor man telling me before I sat down remember to get the cards right in the middle of the hands of Flynt and Stupek. As soon as I starting dealing I saw why - both of the guys had very limited mobility at the time and it was hard for them to scoop up their hole cards. Wish I started dealing in Vegas when I was younger. Vegas World was gone when I got there. Great documentary and I just loved the pictures. Carl's Jr. across the street from VW still there today LOL

Today we talk about the Casinorama casino collectibles show that was just in Las Vegas over the weekend at the Gold Coast Casino on Friday and Saturday. I had the chance to check it out on Friday morning for a little bit and was able to find some goodies for myself and a few friends. Along with some goodies that I'll hopefully be able to help some dealers sell in the near future. I was a little underwhelmed by the show to say the least. I know it isn't the larger CCA convention over the summer, but compared to last year I don't think this show had as much traffic. It could be because I was early, but I don't think that was the case. I didn't seem to see enough advertising or promotion about this show. I had quite a few people that were surprised to hear that there was a chip show happening when I posted something on PCF. I also had some people tell me that they didn't know about it and the only reason they knew about it was because they watched my video. Overall I had a good time, I saw others that had a great time finding stuff for their collections and others that sold quite a bit which is awesome! Hope you enjoy!

Today we quickly talk about my favorite playing card decks that are in my collection. There are quite a few decks, some more common than others, but there are some that I really enjoy. Some notable ones are a brand new sealed Mint deck, some Playboy decks, Nevada Club Reno and Fitzgeralds Reno bridge sized cards and more! Hope you enjoy!
