The May edition of the cash game at the PPC. $.25c/.25c $40 max to start. 9 handed. Welcome @aych to the game!! Also @Franzister and @GOBLINxKING in attendance. @aych played quite well for his debut. HHJ was in effect. Got to put in play my RHC casino set that I have been putting together/mixing up for almost 5 or 6 months. It's basically now a Jack's Cinci set minus the fracs. I do love the Rivers hot stamps tho. Now for the pics.

Well "the kid" is back...
Time for some more Headup $1/2NL ($600 buy in, 300 BB) holdem and omaha.
using different chips to change my luck
lets start with the first hand
The chips are way nicer than this starting hand.
another hand - with nothing
a little more spicy, I raise pre, bet a little on the flop then turn a King for a pair, I am still taking the lead and betting.
then I bet on the river - and get called, I fear I have lost, but the pot comes my way.
KQo - Spicy - time for a pre flop raise...
T9o - Got a little raise action pre with this trap style hand
Interesting flop...I got top pair, let bets this the whole way...
Turn is another 9 - then I get bet into...Ya - Lets Go!!!
River is a...
He bets 75, I call - Ya - I win...
Some Omaha Action,,
another hand -7h8h - Make 2 pair - get paid again
bringing in the chips.
Won it all back from "the kid" this session. Cards helped, got him to make some folds when I needed. Things are back on track.
he now wants to consider playing some of the older NL limit game like stud- razz- draw...
Challenge accepted...stay tuned...

what a brutal Scarney hand! Quads over quads for the high and a 3 card 7 low loses to a 2 card 6 low. How's the ninja part play?

Nothing functional, just that @Darson aka Kuhn is a huge slut for Scarney and was just smooth-playing those quad Jacks in the mitt, hence the (totally real) title bestowed upon him. Must be all that British experience w/ queuing that has lead to such a mastery in patience.
He's done that before at DiD! I think his words were something like "Why do I need to pile money in when you'll do it for me?"

Annual $200 buyin NLHE tournament. Host was hoping for 5 tables, ended up with 3.
Thinking about starting an Ugly Starting Stack thread.
Played tight, made some hands mid tournament, and chipped up.
Made it the the final table. Host has pocket cams on the main table, with five additional camera mounted on the ceiling.
He takes all the footage and puts together a YouTube video.
Payouts were juicy up top.
Ended up 3rd. Villain (host) had ~450K and I had 350K. I raised AK, was three bet; I shoved and got insta-called by QQ. Did not improve and took home third place money, plus a Last Longer Bet among our league players.
If I win that flip, I end up with about 65-70% of the chips in play. Instead villain/host ended up with 75-80% of the chips in play.
