Nothing better than 8 handed Saturday afternoon poker with old friends and new friends. View attachment 1679870

Thanks to @KingHigh for being a killer host! In attendance was @Alfro32. I played some hands wrong and got lucky on a few hands. Lucky in a crazy circus game from my buddy with a straight flush. In for $52 out for $158 with the high hand pot via the straight flush.

Good vibes, good cards and better people around the table. So much fun!
Such a fun day of poker! And those Mai Tais you made were absolutely delicious. My wife says thank you for the mason jar of Mai Tai you left for her— she’s looking forward to enjoying it when she gets home on Monday!

Thank you. Hope she likes them. Again many thanks for such a fun day.

Thanks again @TheOffalo, for hooking it up with the cut cards! The "Lebowski card" was a big hit with the fellas last night.

Don't have the space to host anymore but luckily I get invited to this non-chipper game every few weeks. The other guys could care less & could probably play with bottle caps and pretzel sticks, but they humor me & let me bring my chippies along to use.
(.25/.50 game - Cache Creeks at face, everything else 1/100 of face value)

Great game last night! A great crew, Tiger prims in play, chili and chili dogs for dinner, another [overly] full table, some cool hands, and 17 seconds of Ronda Rousey in the background proved just the right mix for a fun Saturday night!

What is up with the $10 chips? A hold over or? I do like the Aqua's chip tho.

Another fun game in the books for Saturday! We started with crawfish for dinner for the crew and their families

Then we got some poker going with the Rancho Agave 43mm cash set in play.

I built up quick early but then got a couple of bad run outs to lose my first few buyins.

Half way through the game we took a snack break to grill up and enjoy some ribeye cap steaks I got earlier in the day. Washing it down with some nice red wine feels like the peak of life enjoyment!

Back to some more poker games, ending close to 3 AM. We ended the night with one round of SCARNEY and then a round of Big O and things got really spicy!

Friday night poker playing NLHE with two bomb pots. If the flop on the bomb pot checks through, we play another bomb pot! That continues until the flop isn't checked through.

Started with $100, and ran it up a bit early but then lost a big hand when my two pair got rived by an inside straight. It's like that sometimes. I topped of for another $80 and was losing until I remembered to pull out my card protector. It was good running after that!

Cashed out for $400 at the end of the night. Played decently well and got value out of my good hands and called down a couple of big bluffs they tried to push through.

"the kid" called and had time to play NL headup, but did not want to play those old games(NL stud, razz, Draw, etc.) just NL holdem and NL Omaha.
Said sure - 1/2$no limit - 300 BB starting stacks. I was down $350. from our last session, hoping to turn things around.

it was up and down - he took half my stack then I got back to even and took half his stack.

He raised pre - I called with 73c- saw a flop, what a banger flop

I checked flop - he bet, well no 3 no 7 - no clubs, I could try to steal, but Headup, not worth it o this flop with my holding, I fold.

He flops Quads holding the A2c

He raised pre when I had QQ - I flat called, then bet lead- he folded on 9 high flop.

then the final hand, what a luckbox box I was. He was short stacked - he raised pre with KKQQ vs. AKJ6

flop is 639, I hit the 6 I lead out - he raises all-in - I figure he has an overpair, I hope if I hit my ace or King my pair is bigger I have him out chipped, I call.

I need to hit the Ace or runner runner hearts, or QT hit another 6 or hit a J - I luck out - river the Ace. $600 my way. Now I'm up $250.
Next Session Tomorrow - will get more and better pictures.
