Played some $1/$2 after our fantasy draft. Got my first straigh flush after playing for about two years now. Even better that it cracked aces.

Who was in what position? And how was the betting pre and post flop? If I were holding those Aces, it would have been very expensive for you to have even seen the river.

He was in the big blind and i was cutoff. I raised and he decided to get cute and just call. He bet the flop checked the turn and bet the river. He is usually a pretty aggressive played but played this hand really weird.

Very nice of him to let you get there.

First game of this semester, had about 70 ppl in room designed for 40 lol. Gotta book a bigger room next time and get more table toppers.

Prizes was top 3 get a rebuy for a future event.

Final table went over by ~40 minutes. They were still 4 left and like ~20bb deep on average when the shortstack went all in pre and the other three called.

Two of them flop a set, the third guy was betting into them and river'd a straight lol it was crazy.

Was like A8o shortstack vs K8 maniac vs TT and 77.

It ran out JT7 Q A. The K8 guy bet every street for like 7bb it was so funny when he hit.

Unrelated photo from earlier in the day (Final table winding down).

All cards and tigers made it back to their racks / deckboxes which I count as a win in my books.

I need more of the secondary $500s, I didn't have enough for this many ppl.

How did the chips fair???
My group plays frac heavy so in the end we had 3 racks of fracs and 2 racks of $1s on the table and maybe 2 barrels of $5s.. they enjoyed them and have enjoyed the transition to a cash game from the old dice chip tournament style game we had. They were after the $5s and the smack talking was at its highest if you bought them or stole them.

Just another Thursday Night...

Poker-sized 4-color card Setups, really?!?
1000034862.webp

Teddy was down to his last $1 for the Main Pot of Family Limp Derailment. SPOILER ALERT I didn't win lol

These Tina's are AMAZING!!! Thanks again @doublebooyah85!

Let's go Club'n 2x Board 💣 pot
1000034871.webp

We rolled the Mirage dice to set the blinds for the Bomp Pots. I think Snake Eyes hit 3 times WTF?
1000034865.webp

The night was not the best for me but all the other players rejoiced as the Bad Beat Jackpot finally hit after about 8 months of players sniveling that the qualifier was set too high: Kings Full had to be beat and in this case Aces Full were CRUSHED by Quad Aces!!!
1000034866.webp

Congratulations Dread for losing/winning the biggest hand of the night vs Iron Mike Triton.
1000034869.webp

The payout was in chips so this small .25/.50 $100 max game almost DOUBLED the total $$$ on the table in 1 hand

IN for $300
OUT for $100 ALL Tips CHEERS @Dread_Pirate_Roberts, @sethwanab, @Godzilla28, @esapigao, @triton, & @Monaco

Who was the Donkey that folder AQ spades on that green double board and would have gotten half? Such a Nit!

In for $100
Out for $500 Mostly due to that wonderful bad beat. Sometimes it is ok to get beat...

Cheers!

Another Friday night in the books, good time even though I'm having FOMO missing everyone in PHL.

Started with 10 but received messages others were inbound (ended up with 14) so 2 x 5 handed tables to kick it off.

Always keep 'em guessing er confused lol

1000003195.webp

Young vs. "old" in a classic flip TT>AQ, Curly wins naturally.

1000003197.webp

Make to final table with a healthy stack, 3 + bubble paid.

1000003200.webp

And that's a wrap, I bubble the bubble in 5th A3 with two pair rivered by gutter with flush draw on turn.

Great times again !

On a sadder note, we lost an often tournament and cash game regular last week. She lost a 2 year hard fought battle with cancer. She was always a pleasure to play with (and very good at cards)

Rest in peace Mary. :confused
