Couple of crazy hands tonight — one was catching runner-runner for a straight/boat finish

And the hand of the night — catching runner runner 7h-Ah to foul quads!!

You know what they say — you haven’t really played OFCP until your quads are fouled!!

Special thanks to @TheRealTeddyKGB for briefly stopping by to drop off some chips and chat for a bit.

TLDR: Birthday games, donated a bunch of money, Bob-omb! Fawesome time!

My birthday is in July and years past, I would host a 3-4 table tournament followed by cash games. I would designate the tournament as a Charity tournament and usually take 20% to donate to a rotation of charities that I support. Last year we made $1500 donated to a local poker dealer that simultaneously had both his wife and 2 year old son going through cancer treatment. (Thankfully they are recovering.)

Fast forward to this year and we are downsizing so tables and chairs have been donated to local hosts. I decided on 3 days of 1 table games - Deepstack PLO/HE Cash, Limit Dealer’s Choice and single table SitnGos with Derailment/Scarney bombs in the Cigar Lounge. I still wanted a charity donation so I decided to donate all my profits from the 3 days to this years charity…Wounded Warrior Project.

Here’s some pron and results in the end.

I had a good 1st day at Deep Stack raising close to $500 to donate. But cards slowed down at Dealer’s Choice and SitnGos. Made a little bit in the bomb pots and generous PCFers and locals helped out. So all in all, we didn’t beat last years record but raised a respectable $1440 to donate. And I got my own Bob-omb with lights and sound to boot. Someone even brought Godzilla party favors to use as card cappers. The last time there was party favors at my birthday must’ve been decades ago. :wtf:

Thank you @Vinyard @Big Money @triton @sethwanab @Monaco @TheRealTeddyKGB @ngmcs8203 [USER=8786]@Dread_Pirate_Roberts and all the locals that made it happen and made my birthday fawesome!!

Always a blast at The Heritage Club, even when we play some two-table tourney first. Truly love the Noirs, although I think I say that every time I post them here.

Blame @Gunnar He's like Anders, but a little more controlled. We went head to head a lot and I learned some shit.

Fun times. I totally should have snagged the @Nick handle when I joined PCF.

ALL HAIL THE PIP LORD
PCF, what would you do if there is an obnoxious player at your table, constantly berating other players and calling himself "The Pip Lord"? Instead of calmly denying a draw card in Drawmaha49 when he is dealt a 36+ minimum 5 out of 7 hands, he loudly yells, "NONE FOR ME" and then "POT MOTHERF*CKER" on every subsequent street, potentially waking up host's wife and children. When he does calmly call "pot", it's followed by the wrong (lesser) pot amount being announced and put in.

(Quoted post/player unrelated.)

Ermmm....i think you combined two players.

Me? I would have a conversation that includes a warning. Then I'd not invite him again if he couldn't control himself.

Current home game setup. Hoping to score another table in the near future to be able to host some MTT’s on the backyard patio. We typically run a quick tournament game to get everyone warmed up followed by some low stakes cash. Currently playing with Apache chips but plan on acquiring a higher end cash set to bust out when the more serious players join in on the fun.

Will be sure to update here as the grand vision comes to fruition.

Wish me luck with the pit boss… 😅🤞
