Nice little win in our weekly tourny :)
And no worries, I have upgraded his chips… no more sluggers

Introduced Scarney to the group after 25¢/50¢ NLH. Only way to really learn something is to have a three-way all-in in the turn.

Post game heads up NLH 5¢/10¢. This is why you call the preflop three bet with T9o, drill top pair, reraise the flop bet and call the four three bet jam. Better to be lucky than good…

You do realize Scarney is supposed to have two cards on the turn correct? Should be a 12 card board with two rows of 6. Top row is playable and bottom is discard as shown, but should be 5 rows of cards turned over at this point.

Also we mostly play cancelation so if the card comes out on the bottom you remove it from the top row and throw it in the discards... makes the playable hand venerable to change as well and lots of fun.

Owned this 36mm tourney set for several years and never played it

Had 21 players last night and finally got the "LPG" molds in play

Unfortunately my dumb ass only took a starting stack pic... I went out 1 before the bubble...

Brought this one for cash

I was still in the tourney but the boys had money moving early in the other table upstairs

That's my old man in the white Hawian shirt 2 pics up... first league he has played with me since joining PCF, learning Sviten has been expensive for him the last couple of months.

Unfortunately that cash table was full for hours with a wait list so we started another table on @DarkHelmet55 HSI's. I only took one pic and is was the last hand of the night at 4am... check this one out

Again Sviten so plan to draw one and make a straight in the hand being open ended until this flop!

Now what do I do... do I toss the 10 and draw to the straight and hope to hit another boat? I went PAT to make it look strong. Bet the shit out of it on every street with 2 callers and one guy called me down with a pair of 77s in the whole and caught a 7 on the river for a scoop! Poker is stupid!

I was up about $100 but in for $200 out for $210.

Well shoot you’re right, I shouldn’t have been going off of memory. I was just thinking it was dealt like double board hold ‘em, thanks for the catch.

I like that cancellation rule though!

Cancelation would be a variant, not the standard base rules. Certainly adds way more variance.

Snuck in some short handed dealers choice while the wife traveled to a conference. Draw was a hit, stud not so much. Still teaching some friends how to play and why to bet preflop...its a process.

They love the ceramics, both tournament and cash, BUT they're psyched for me to finally clean/mill/label the Flamingo set. Not in a rush, but good to hear they like the feel of them.

Saturdays .25/.25 game. Friendly game with mostly my wife’s said of the family and a lot of min raises haha. Was running slow first part of the night but had a couple nice pots with a club flush and quad 5’s with a really wet board.

Had the nut straight against a full house and gave a good chunk back, but bought in for $20 and finished with $68. All in all a good night, can’t wait till my aurora star chips get in and i can put those in play.

Saturday game was a rare NLHE-only game on Indiana Grands. The Shamrock card capper brought some run good, as I don’t think I lost a hand where I put money into the pot after the flop. In for $100, out for $365.

Oh my friend, we are all dealt different hands... ;) View attachment 1298220
And on the subject of cock protectors, I’ve never used black or white, but purple seemed to do the job nicely.

I completely forgot to take a pic but really wanted to because the story is fun.

Found the neighborhood game. It was another one of those "guess the dice chip denom" type games.

Red: 25c
White: 50c
Blue: $1
Green: $5

Host whipped out a brand new pack of poker size, standard index... Bicycles. Great.

At least the table was a brand new Barrington. He just needs those deeper cupholders and he's in business. A plan begins to formulate...

Cut to the third hand... I "accidentally" dump my beer all over his brand new table and cards. OOPS! Those darn shallow cupholders. My paper hand instantly turns into a pair of wet napkins.

If only someone happened to bring along some bridge size, jumbo index plastic cards.

OH WAIT. I HAVE TWO DECKS RIGHT HERE. PLEASE, TAKE THESE AND KEEP THEM AS PENANCE FOR RUINING YOUR TABLE.

Heh... all ended well. It was truly an accident and the table showed no stains or damage. Was just a bonus to get to use the good cards for the rest of the night.

My wet napkins earned me a flush, by the way. Took down that pot after cleanup.

I was fortunate enough to not only be invited to play at @MrRossKeys home with his brand new set of web mold chips (they stack like bricks and are beautifully bright and vibrant) but had an evening where I could sneak away for a few hours. Told my wife that I’d be out for 3hrs tops. That turned into 4.5hrs pretty easily. Great group of locals and fortunately only a 10 min drive home.

If you’re designing a set of customs do not sleep on the hybrid web mold 43mm with the semi-gloss labels. Wow!
