Single table tournament at my buddy’s Friday night. Glad I convinced him to pick up a nice set of chips a year or so ago.

I was able to take it down. We’ve been gathering the guys up for football season, hoping to play a little more.

Fun Tuesday game. I busted early in the tourney but there were some crazy hands, like this KK against AA. Kings hit a set on the turn but Aces went set over set on the river:

Then cash after was a blast. And an even crazier hand came up in Omaha. Flop is Q93. Set over set over set. 33 turns quads but I river better quads:

It’s always a fun night when fruit snacks are involved.
 
Always love playing on this old janky table in a friend's garage. Had a good night, in for $150 out for $530. Really been digging this mix of chips too. LL roulettes for a frac, sycuan $1, and HSI primary for the rest. Never thought I'd care for a mixed set, but the colors just work well. Guess it's time to order some HSI labels?

Ended up taking it down when J3 > KK. Blinds were $2k/$4k. I completed from the button and he made it 8k to go. I flatted and flop was J32. He bet 10k, I raised to 30k and he shoved. I called and two pair held.

Also note the consensus among my non-chipping friends was that they didn't want to use 50c fracs so they refused to use my mint PCA secondary set. Idiots.
